We just came back from there. We have spend 15 days at this hotel and we really enjoy our holiday!
The staff could not have been nicer. The room was comfortable, with a perfect air conditioning.
The restaurant (at breakfast or in the evening) was very good also, with varied food. Thanks to all of the staff for their services. We thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We have been going to the Lido now for some time, I think it's around 13 times we have used this hotel but we just cant help it as it's got everything going for it.
Firstly, the location is perfect, right on the waterfront with stunning views over Naama Bay. It's a 5 minute walk into the centre where all the bars, shops and resturants are,(stay away from the perfume shops as once you go in it will cost you a small fortune to get out, trust me I speak from experience) it's close enough to walk to and yet far enough t get away from all the hustle and bustle if you need to and it's right by the Marina to cater for all your diving trips etc. (for any trips, quad biking, diving etc see Emad on the beach downstairs for the best prices)

The staff are fantastic and don't let you do anything, from Memo at the pool bar, Makram and Saudi who take care of the pool and the private beach as well as Mohammed, Ishmail, Yasser and Shadi just to name a few (thank you) and all the guys from housekeeping who keep the rooms spotless during your stay.

The food is very good with buffet style breakfast, lunch and evening meals but if you are on an All Inclusive or Half Board Basis and don't venture out every now and again for an evening meal etc, it can seem a little repetative but you will still have a good choice though. You can also order food from the pool bar (snacks, burgers and sandwiches etc) and an a-la carte on deck menu (fantastic) but be aware that these are not included on an All Inclusive or a Half Board Basis. Drinks here can be quite expensive with a bottle of Sakara Gold (lager) being over £3.50 and a Spirit and mixer being around £5.00 depending on the exchange rate.

If you fancy a little bit of pampering you can always get Sabry or one of his team to give you a massage, manicure,a bit of threading (hair removal for ladies and gents) or even a shave. Prices are not too bad but if you fancy a deal get yourself 3 massages in a bundle you will get one free and you could save around £50. Sabry normaly walks around the hotel once or twice a day introducing himself and his services via a brochure so you won't have to go looking for him, (gents get the full body sports massage, fantastic)

Overall I can't fault the Lido or it's staff and still think that it is a fantastic hotel with probably the best location in Naama Bay and I can't wait to get back next year.

Just one last thing, if you have never been to Egypt before just remember it can get very very hot there so remember to drink plenty of water and keep the sun tan lotion on. Have a great holiday and if there is anything regarding the Lido or Naama Bay then don't hesitate to ask and I will do my best to help.

Regards

Robert & Elaine

Ps A very big thank you to Mr Yasser, Mr Mohamed & Mr Tamer (GM)

Room Tip: Rooms 217-223 have excellent views over Naama Bay

We have to start by thanking Mr Tamer and Mr Yasser for looking after us so well.
This is our 5th time at this hotel and we wasn't disappointed, the roof terrace suits us down to the ground ( pool, bar and view ). We like the uncrowded environment of the hotel it's a little gem.
Mustafa the bar man was brill the most hard working bloke I've seen in Egypt, If anybody is looking for a good cocktail waiter he's the man.
We found all the staff caring and attentive well done guys.
Thanks for making it a lovely 2 weeks.
Bear in mind that this is our type of holiday however with this hotel being in a great location you can make it what type of holiday you like whether its diving, clubbing or doing boat trips.
It's been mentioned in some reviews about noise at night But we never heard any.

Just back from this hotel and absolutely loved it.

We arrived here for two nights after spending 8 nights at one of the Hilton '5 star' hotels and I can honestly say that it was only upon coming here that I started to enjoy my holiday!

The hotel is a lovely little (in comparison to others in the region) boutique hotel overlooking the beach. Inside the hotel you'll find decking, lots of folliage and coves within the hotel where you can have a drink, read a book or converse with new friends.

Whilst just a 2 mins walk from Naama Bay, the hotel itself is clean, relaxing and peaceful.

We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and enjoyed having our breakfast (which was of a very good quality) out on the hotel terrace overlooking the bay in the mornings.

All of the staff were so very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Indeed we had some problems with our booking (not the hotel's fault) yet the staff were very accommodating.

The rooms aren't as large or as 'fancy' as some in the other hotels however, given its location, views and additional areas within the hotel, the smaller room space worked out fine!

You can arrange excursions and or watersports by visiting the excursion / watersport rep on the hotel's beach. He is a breath of fresh air. He's friendly, helpful and his prices are very reasonable. You can make enquiries without him applying any pressure and he certainly will not hassle you; the right approach given that after dealing with him once, his professionalism alone will secure repeat business. (This is in STARK contrast to two rip off merchants we'd booked other trips through before arriving at this hotel).

The only thing I was unhappy with was the fact I wasn't here longer! In summary, a lovely hotel and comfortable, enjoyable stay. No complaints from us whatsoever.

A big thank you to the Iberotel Lido!
