I stayed there for a week from 12 pf oct till 19 th , i cannot say i didn't enjoy but defInetely this is hotel should not be rated as an 5 stars Resort. First day of my arival i ordered an extra bed and they got me a bended bed( woke up had such a pain in my back) went to complain and they are trying to convince me that is what they have. After a big argument and meetings the manager they changed it, but i asked for a reward that i paid a night sleeping on a bended bed( not the money of course). But what really shocked me they didnt care . They need to be trained to know WHAT IS CUSTUMER SERVICE .I like the beach but i will never go again due to the AWFUL MANAGMENT SERVICE

This is a very old dated resort , at one time it was probably very nice. We went in October for 2 weeks . 4 women 2 in our forties and 2 70 year olds . Our first rooms were not clean at all in fact there where dried bogies on the wall in the bathroom and dried pee stains down the tiles at the side of the toilet , the baths were cracked and when we had a shower it was like a river running through the bathroom , also we had no hot water for 2 1/2 days and the toilets wouldn't flush , eventually we asked to be moved , in the next room there was dried sick down the wall at the side of the toilet and the toilet still didn't flush , 3 times they supposedly repaired it ,,, in the end we were filling the waste bin up to flush the toilet. We also had visitors in the form of cockcroaches . I gave the room lads really big tips each day to try and get the room cleaned properly, to no avail . I ended up buying antiseptic wipes to clean surfaces etc . THE FOOD , well what can I say all inclusive was not that great , breakfast it could take you 25 minutes to get 2 fried eggs and the cooking station at breakfast was a disgrace it was filthy and if people were honest if you saw that in a restaurant in England you would walk out . The pay restaurants were quite good , toilets outside of the rooms sometimes cleanish , big pool of diarrhoea on the floor in front of the sink when I went in one toilet and when I showed the attendant he said what is wrong ??? I had to go on a antibiotic drip as some bites I had were infected , although I tried my best to keep them clean ,same for one of the elderly ladies . The staff were very pleasant and would try there best , they were just not trained to do the job to a proper standard , we made the best of a bad situation and didn't let it spoil our holiday , and we got on great with the Egyptian people . All in all it is the owners and management of this resort who need to get some staff training in place and spend some money on this resort .

Room Tip: If there is a good room in the place I didn't find it ,,

Spent a week here as a couple and had a lovely time. Did arrive at a busy couple of days as an Egyptian holiday so hotel was at full capacity. Arrived around 1.00 in the afternoon and check-in was from 2.00 p.m. Reception was very busy with lots of people checking in but filled in a form, passports copied and then got the usual al-inclusive band. We then went for lunch and managed to get our room key about an hour later. Room was spacious and we were given the requested 1st floor, double bedded room. Bathroom could do with updating but was clean and plenty of hot water. Had a lovely partial sea view, room had a mini fridge filled daily with 2 bottles of water and 2 glass bottles of coke (bottle opener is on the wall in the bathroom). Water and occasionally sweets does tend to get brought to the room early evening but we didn't feel under any obligation to tip at this time as stated in some of the reviews.
Rooms were cleaned daily, had to ask for a bath towel on one occasion as only 1 left and fuse went in one of the lights but a call to reception sorted these out in no time.
Main buffet restaurant was a good standard, during the busy couple of days it did open half hour earlier for your evening meal and we were given unlimited reservations at the Italian and grill restaurant during our stay. Italian (poolside) & grill restaurants were set menu's where the main was pre-ordered, starters were buffet style soup or salads, main served to you. We enjoyed both and it was nice to eat in different surroundings. Breakfast in the main restaurant was excellent, eggs were poached or fried for you, as were pancakes, waffles & omelettes. Lovely selection of breads, doughnuts & Danish pastries. There was 3 or 4 cereals, porridge and fruit & yoghurt. Toast your own bread and French toast, sausages, bacon, white beans in tomato sauce (a rather sweet version of our baked beans). We usually take our own teabags abroad but the tea was good - 'Lipton's'. Pizza, chips, pasta & salad were available around the pool lunchtime and cheese/ham rolls again around 4.00 ish. Grill restaurant also served lunch which was chicken wings when we went with the usual salad, bread etc. Beach bar served crepes lunchtime though we didn't try it. In the main buffet restaurant waiters look after certain tables so we tended to sit in the same section but you could sit anywhere and as well as the main buffet area there were cooking stations in another part of the restaurant so we felt the choice was good, never struggled to find something nice to eat. Always plenty of salads, 2 or 3 soups, meat, pasta, a great steak pie on a couple of times, chicken curry, kebabs etc. Again great bread selection and lovely desserts. We did tip our waiter at the end of our stay as he kept us well topped up with drinks and nothing was too much trouble. Local wine is served with lunch and dinner in the main restaurant and from 1.00 p.m. til 10.00 p.m. in the reception bar and was good. Menu in reception bar lists all the drinks included in the 'all inclusive'. Local beer was fine even though weaker than ours and local spirits were ok.
Pool area was clean, plenty of sunbeds. You are given a towel card when you check-in which you exchange for a clean towel each morning. The staff at the pool were really good and would bring a mattress for your sunbed if you wanted. The bar staff round the pool brought drinks for you, we tipped a couple of English pounds a couple of times in the week and got great service, they are very friendly and polite. You do get hassled at the start from spa, water sports staff trying to sell to you but we just said a polite no thanks and that was it.
Walked over to the Dreams Vacation next door just for a look, you can use the pools there and bars but not the restaurant. There is a Mexican and Asia House restaurant you can dine at with a charge but we didn't. We did speak to people who had eaten at them and said they were very good, had we been staying another week we would have tried them.
Entertainment staff are round the pool a couple of times through the day and usually something on at night from 10.00 p.m. til 11.00 p.m.
The snorkelling in the sea was great, we took our snorkels 'just in case' and were pleased we did. There is a couple of bars down there and 3 jetty's to walk out into the sea. Plenty of sunbeds down there too and well worth a look.
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our week there and are already looking at going back. Once the Egyptian holidays had finished things did really quieten down and it did feel under occupied. We did have a walk to the local shopping area one evening, it was about a 20 minute walk, though plenty of taxis which you could expect to pay only 20 Egyptian pounds to get up there. We bought a few things at. the shops in the complex. We spoke to people who have been going there for years and I can understand why. Reading negative reviews can put you off but we make our own minds up and didn't hear of anybody being ill with an upset stomach. Can't wait to go back.

Me and my mum just got back from a week at this resort, we were pleasantly surprised!
Staff were brilliant, always friendly and interested in having a conversation with you.
Hotel room was okay, could do with updating but it was always clean and had plenty of drinks in the fridge. I would advise to tip your cleaner cause then they will go the extra mile for you.
Food was good, bit repetitive but what do people expect for all inclusive that you haven't paid a huge amount for, it was always fresh and tasty.
The young man down at the beach was so lovely, make sure you tip him and he will look after you!! The beach was fab, the bar was great, it served crepes and the snorkeling was great! And I would highly recommend the boat trip to Tiran Island!

We will definitely be coming back but will change the dates as when we were there, it was the Egyptian holiday and they were not the greatest people to be sharing a restaurant with and they were definitely not there for a relaxing holiday.
Please visit this hotel as it was great in every single way.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room with sea view, and make sure you tip your cleaner on the first day!!
