“Fantastic resort”

I have never stayed at this sort of enclosed, all inclusive resort before and was a little worried but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is physically beautiful with very well tended gardens and the eponymous waterfall. The room was big and kept spotlessly clean and the 'towel origami' referred to in other reviews made us smile each day we got back from the beach/pool. No, the food isn't great but what do you expect for this sort of venue? It was certainly better than I expected on the whole but thought both Verdis and Latinos were overrated. We found the staff variable from extremely pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable to downright rude. Unlike Alleyne, I found the lady on restaurant booking for instance somewhat unhelpful. Best staff, the barmen in Latinos and Chillax bars; the worst - the barmen at Cafe Shalalat. Beware if charging drinks or food, it will then be subject to taxes so will cost more if bought in cash. However, you will need lots of small notes in order to get round this as they always claim to 'have no change'! All in all we had a fabulous time and would definitely go again for this sort of relaxing winter beach holiday.

The hotel staff and most of the restaurant staff VERY nice and helpful. The lady who does the booking for the various restaurant a TURE star. The room was nice but the bathroom needed redecorating, crack in sink and tiles dirty (needing replacing). You shouldn't have to book for the spa. The food is NOT good enough for so called 5 star, it wasn't always fresh!!! I didn't eat anywhere else, had food poising and was ill for a week after returning. Ordered a pina colada at main bar it looked like and nastied like dirty water. Tooooo many Russians VERY load and not very friendly!!! Beautiful hotel but they need to sort our food and drink or people won't return or recommend.

I just had my second stay. Beautiful place so relaxy and a good company makes me feel home. Nice weather and great view. Room is clean, Morning coffe at Latinos Best place to eat at Zahla, and for night try Shish Besh place.

What a lovely place to stay, can't speak highly enough about the location the facilities and the staff. The food however is shockingly average, I would love to say bad but that's not fair it didn't have enough taste to be classed as bad, I would say it was blander than the blandest thing on the menu from the cast of goodness gracious me ;-) The resort was very well kept with constant gardening and cleaning and that did make up for somewhat shameful eating and the all inclusive alcohol was again not up to much either. The weather was great for November when we went averaging 33 or so and the sea was amazing just off the private beach. There is a wide range of pools to relax round and the views from the top of the hotel looking down the walkway through the complex to the beach is a treat, especially when lit up at night. Evening entertainment was available but we didn't use it as we were in bed for around 10:00 making the most of getting up early and the sunrises. There is plenty to do round there too but be warned everyone outside the hotel is either begging from you or trying to sell you something and that includes the trips you pay for. It's the way it is there but once you have paid £70 to go on a trip including snorkelling you don't expect to have to pay for the hire of the snorkelling kit but we did and it was brilliant, if anything I would say it left a bad taste, but excellent memories that will last longer than the feeling of being annoyed. Would I go back yes but only after I have been somewhere else first and there are a lot of those places to go to. If you would like a week of winter sun and do absolutely nothing but chilling swimming and eating very average food then go, I bet you don't put weight on!!!!!!

We were regretful to learn that your perception of our resort did not comply with the image of a five-star hotel. The entire team of the Hilton Sharm Waterfalls team put a lot of effort to maintain the highest standards of service and to let our guests feel most valued and genuinely cared for.

As an Executive Chef, I was concerned to know that we were not able to fulfill your requirements in regards to variety of food. Our main restaurant La Cascade features 7 different theme events during the evening hours with a large selection of dishes. Nevertheless I have urged the kitchen equipe to fine-tune our seasoning philosophy. In addition I held a meeting with my Sous chefs and main kitchen chefs to roll up the sleeves more and to let the creative mind come to its full potential. In the mean time ad in relation to your comments, we have created an additional "flavor station" with dozens of spices, oils, sauces and condiments to get closer to our target of "making it right" for every single guest of any nationality and with any culinary preference.

On the other hand, we were glad that overall, you had an enjoyable stay and that the level of service provided by our helpful team members were up to your satisfaction.

We will continue with full power and motivation to strive for excellence - hopefully, you will notice a difference during your next stay. My review will very much echo the previous good reviews on here, but I really must stress just how fantastic the staff at this hotel are. They are incredibly friendly and nothing is too much trouble, and they also have a lot of banter! They really do deserve any tips that you can spare.

The hotel was really nicely decorated for Christmas with lovely touches here and there. Check in was fast and we were automatically upgraded to a sea view room without being asked or charged extra, which was lovely, and we found the room to be very spacious and comfortable. Our only slight niggle was that there were three of us and we were only provided with two of everything - extra cups were provided when we left a note for our cleaner. We were also given a double bed instead of a twin. We were told immediately at check in that we could change the following day, but we actually really liked our room (2106) and couldn't be bothered to move so we stuck with it!

We found the food to be of very good quality and there was always plenty of choice in the main restaurant. The Italian was definitely worth going to, and the Shish Bish was a fantastic experience, but we felt quite rushed when our main came out before we'd even finished the starters! Drinks were fine, although many cocktails were chargeable (albeit a couple of quid) but these should really be included. One tip - Decaf tea is not provided on the all-inclusive, so if you do drink that I would take some with you.

Take plenty of insect repellent, especially if you plan to sit out in the Shish Bish Lounge at night. Also - if you ask at reception, they will provide you with a plug-in mosquito repellent for your room.

Trips are cheaper if you book outside of the hotel - especially in Naama Bay where you can get a glass bottom boat trip for a fiver.

We were invited to a meeting with some of the staff part-way through our holiday to give our feedback, which I thought was a great idea. We were also given some of the non-inclusive cocktails and also some canapes, which was a great incentive to go! I think that this does go to show that they really do want to provide their guests with the best service possible. I did overhear that they are planning some work to the hotel next year, so this may be worth checking out before booking in case it will affect your holiday in any way.

Overall - a fantastic and unforgettable stay made perfect by the wonderful staff - would recommend this place in a heart beat!

came back from the waterfalls 4 december after our fifth stay there. the staff cannot do enough for you. the reception team especially imal are fantastic.the romm are kept to a very clean standard as is the hotel in general. a big thank you to the cascafe team who work very hard keeping everybody served with drinks newspapers etc they are all equally good. the verdi restaraunt is a must shabaan is brilliant he makes our holiday worth while a special thank you also to siyed in latinos he is an exellent barman also laughing you cannot help but smile when you are around him.siyed the pool boy at the chilax is very helpful he never stops keeping the area clean seeing that everything is ok and who could forget hassaan at the chliax poolbar.always gives great service always happy .considering the hours these boys work they are a credit to the hilton keep up the good work we will see youall in february mr peter and susan room 2407

Our second visit to this hotel was a birthday treat for my wife. First of all after a quick flight thanks to strong winds in our favour we were promptly transported from the runway to the luggage area to collect our bags, after passing through the chaos of the terminal our transfer was waiting and took us straight off to our hotel (all of which was easy as we had done this before). We were greeted at reception with a welcome drink and a cold flannel and checked in, not before being offered the room upgrade (which we took as it does make a difference in size and comfort). we are then taken by golf buggy to our room. Having been here before we left our luggage to be unpacked the next day and headed straight for the shish bish bar area as it was a warm night, to be greeted by Mohamed who recognised us straight away. From then on in every where we went in the hotel familiar staff welcomed us like family all remembering us from the previous year.All in all a great time . thanks to all the staff. Im not going to name you all as we used every aspect of the hotel .teams include : bar staff (all areas) towel staff ,cleaners ,room service ,bus boys ,spa staff ,ocean college staff, all restaurant staff in all areas. thank you all and will probably see you all in the future.شكرا لكم جميعا لوقف كبيرة كل ما تبذلونه من ائتمان لشركتك
