This is my fourth trip to Sharm and we chose this hotel because of the location near Na'ma bay, but it has the same issue with most of the hotels there, which is being old and outdated. Stepping inside the hotel feels like traveling back in time to 1980's or 90's; furniture everywhere is old, rooms need serious furbishing and everything looks, feels and smells old!

It took us more than an hour to check in and our luggage came after 20 minutes.

Room was clean but had a very pungent pesticides smell. Furniture is old (this is the only hotel I have seen in while that does not have a flat screen or LCD), very basic bathroom amenities, no bath rope, no slippers, complimentary coffee and tea station but without water, minibar was used but hadn't been replenished, and pillows were a disaster!

We were on an all-inclusive package but could not eat, because food served at the main restaurant was horrific! Limited variety, items tasted old and very limited international items. The good thing is that we were able to use the snacks bar for hot dogs and fries.

The only thing that made me push this review from a poor rating to average, was the friendliness and kindness of hotel staff (except front desk) and especially, the amazing animation team and pool bar staff, in addition the outdoor facilities (a lot of pools, clean and well maintained).

Don't think that I will visit again anytime soon!

Room Tip: Try to ask for a room close to the main building to avoid walking for a long distance.

When my friend and I arrived at Hilton dreams a short journey away from the airport, Our welcoming was very pleasant. They offered us a welcoming drink which was very much needed.
Our check in was very speedy and we got driven on a golf cart with our luggage to our room 5020.

As soon as we got to the room we freshened up (The water is filtered sea water, so it is advised not to brush your teeth with tap water) The mini bar is stocked up, with free water though out your stay. The rooms are as pictured but the cleanliness isn't up to normal worldwide hilton standards... In this case I can say somethings women do better...such as cleaning...haha... But our cleaner Ahmed was a real sweetheart and was accommodating to everything we needed.

We headed down to the strip which you can walk to in about 5 mins.

We occasionally went to the hotel bar at night which plays music also has tv for the lads to watch when the football is on. For the people that want to go and explore the nightlife, the animation team floats around from 9-11pm who can arrange you tickets for the "club of the night" which normally cost around 200 Egyptian pounds which normally includes unlimited alcohol too. They also arrange to take you there and pick you up after it is finished. ( apparently it is kept quite hush hush as the hilton doesn't like the team to do so, which is apparently to do with keeping up the reputation of the hilton ) The alcohol served majority of places in Egypt is local brewed alcohol so you won't be getting anything like Smirnoff or grey goose vodka, so I advise if you like a decent drink purchase alcohol at the airport before you arrive in Egypt.

The next day we had breakfast which had a great variety but was not to my taste at all! It reminded me of stale school dinners, but on the bright side there is a omelette station which is available every morning and the porridge was quite nice. The main restaurant at lunch and dinner is pretty much the same ( tasted like microwave meals.) Also I met a couple in the week that said they had some chicken and it was undercooked, but had mentioned it to the restaurant manager and he was very apologetic. I advise against the food at this hotel, besides from the pool snack bar we serves chips burgers etc between 12 midday till 5pm.

On a whole we had a great time in Egypt, the hotel was massive with 7 pools, as for the private beach it isn't so private...and you actually have to walk across the road to the an other hilton named the Farouz which has direct access to the beach. Which from our room took about 10 min walk, to be honest not worth it, better to lounge around the pools at the hotel.

Visited Egypt many times and this hotel, to be honest the hotel is becoming rather tired around the pool area and bathrooms. The staff make up for this, all cannot do enough for you - including Saied Pool Captain, who remembered us again, Ahmed Said the Pool Boy, Ahmed restaurant Assistant Captain to name but a few.....!!! Kaka in charge of the entertainment is just fantastic and full of fun, so much improved on last year, and very talented. For two females this is a great place to be as you feel safe wherever you walk day or night. Breakfasts are good, the rest of the food is a bit repetitive, but you have to remember you are in a very different country. We will return!!! We had a pedicure and manicure, but this area seriously needs renovating, not particularly inviting and not a pleasant place to work for the lovely staff there - the word is 'tatty', especially for a so called beauty salon.....

Room Tip: Pool rooms are the best!!

It was the third time I was in Egypt and my third time at Hilton. Could not find any reason not to stay there again!
This time we were four people – so prior to arrival I’ve asked the hotel to provide us with the connected rooms close to the big pool area – I am very thankful to the Hotel Management that all my requests were fulfilled.
I was really happy to see many familiar faces among the staff at the reception, pool areas and in the restaurant and it was a real pleasure that they seemed to remember me as well!
I definitely recommend this hotel if you look for a great beach, excellent pools, great food and exceptional treatment of the hotels staff who all do their best to want you to come back there again and again!
Yes, it’s not on the first line – but it only takes a few minutes to get to the beach, plus the Hotel area is so beautifully decorated that each walk is a pleasure.
The situation in Sharm in general is really quite – nothing to be scared of!

This was our second visit to this hotel, returning after a fantastic trip the previous time. Had a few troubles with our previous hotel. Once we arrived at the hotel we were taken care of in a fantastic way and that is when our holiday began. Hotel on an outlook is great but the warmness of the staff and all their efforts make the hotel come to life. Really could not say a bad thing (just need free wi-fi). Ahmed Hassan is a diamond always ready to help and provide an excellent service.

Two of us really enjoyed our holiday and lucky that we had a quiet bedroom as it was away from the music. Very good location five minute walk to shops and get wifi in many cafes in Naama Bay - hotel charge £4 per hour for wifi. Near casinos. Very good for families - if you want quiet all the time this may not be suitable. Hotel staff very very good and friendly and Sammy the restaurant Manager is excellent. Food very average and middle eastern food not very good. Overall very good.

Room Tip: If you want quiet ask for a room away from the loud music.

We go twice a year every year and stop at the Hilton Dreams. We wouldn't go anywhere else now. Reason is the staff really make it special, they always remember us and treat us like friends not guests.

My Husband celebrated his 50th Birthday whilst there and he was spoilt with lovely food and cakes.

We don't do any trips and rarely go out of hotel as we like to just chill. We did take a trip one evening to Naama Bay and found it quite stressful due to the hassle of come into my shop! Never again! Another guest said try Soho Square you will not get hassled, so night after we went to there and it was brilliant, can walk into shop and just browse, locals say it is expensive but you can haggle, we spent lots on fake designer bags and watches which are really good quality, yet in Naama Bay didn't spend a penny due to the hassle of not being able to look without being pestered.

Only downside was it rained one afternoon!!! First time we have seen rain in Egypt so was a bit of a novelty!

I would love to mention all the staff but too many names but must say the Management - Ahmed Hassan, Mostafa Alassal and Sherif Darwish, go out of their way to ensure we have a brilliant time and make it feel like our second home. The Management have great staff which is a credit to the Hilton.

Whilst we were there a few people said to us why do you keep coming back I don't like certain things, but reassured them that if you say what is bothering you, however small just politely say what is wrong and the staff will sort it. IF something is wrong for TV doesn't work or have special food needs then just ask, they will sort it out! They listened to us and next day it was yes your right thank you we are happy now and will come back! No point complaining when you get home and post a bad review! Just ask!

The Hotel rooms to be fair are a bit outdated BUT the rooms are so clean and you don't go on Holiday to watch TV and sit in room its just somewhere to sleep and its comfortable cool and very clean.

Looking forward to going back in September when we will take my parents - my Dad is in a wheel chair, doesn't cause an issue as they look after him well
