The a la cart restaurant had really a great variety and delicious food ! We enjoyed the time at the swimming pools especially of how clean they are. The atmosphere in general is perfect for relxaing. I stayed at the Domina Prestige for 9 nights in July and was very satisfied with the accommodation and service. Having upgraded from the originally booked Harem hotel for a reasonable upgrade price I was pleasantly surprised. I cannot comment on the Harem rooms nor service as we upgraded on arrival and driven to the Prestige 10 min later. I mainly wanted to go diving and since the Harem is on the other side of this huge resort we decided to move. The Prestige is the closest to the diving centre and is also one of the nearest hotels to the "Sultan" beach which you can use if you upgrade. There are 7 hotels within this resort and finding your way around and understanding the "all inclusive packages" and what's included, what’s not and where you are allowed to go, ones upgraded, can be a little confusing. Especially if you get the blue wrist band for the Sultan hotel, get allocated the El Wadi restaurant, which is normally for the Elisier hotel, but have a room at the Prestige… well the combination was a little odd but this did not bother me too much. The Prestige has the "highest" raking since it is very private. Personally I only saw one or two other, also divers, guests during my stay. Since noise, lots of evening entertainment (which I think there is plenty if you want but not all free) and drinking wine from plastic cubs at the "All inclusive" Bahia bar, was not the intention of my holiday, I enjoyed the privacy and tranquillity which Prestige does offer you. If you go all inclusive you will be eating buffet style and if that is not your thing, because it is in the end of day mass catering (The entire resort has 1600 rooms) then don’t do it and use the all a carte restaurants when you feel like it. Personally I thought the food was average to good. I wasn’t so sure about the cold French fries salad but a part from that there was plenty of choice and it wasn’t bad tasting. Having said that I really enjoyed the food when they had the Egyptian nights on at the restaurant. Yummy! Like many guest in Egypt I also suffered a bit of upset tummy but since I went straight to the pharmacy to get some Antinal it didn't stop me from doing anything. All in all it is a great resort and great service at the Prestige; keep in mind that the resort overall is visited by probably 80% Russian guest (although I did not have the slightest problem with that it might explain the plastic glasses at the bar ;) ;) ;), 10% Italian (mainly divers due to the Italian dive centre management) and the rest is a mix. Thanks to Ibrahim, the receptionist, the club car driver (sorry I forgot your name and most of the Egyptian words you taught us :( ) who was always available to drive us from A to B anywhere in the resort and the room boy who kept the room clean and tidy, all made the stay to be remembered. Watch out I will be coming back soon and checking flights already:)

Room Tip: Upgrade and you get a personal buggy service; just ring Prestige reception from anywhere and it come...

We upgraded to prestige half way through our two week stay at domina coral bay. The hotel itself was beautiful and our room was also fantastic! The bed was HUGE !! It had a lovely balcony area lover looking the pool and the sea the view was stunning. The room had a large bathroom with robes slippers and a jacuzzi bath , a minibar , hot drink facilities, flat screen TV with decent channels , a stereo player and a lovely seating area.
We had access to the elisir spa whenever we wanted so we took full advantage of that and made use of the heated jacuzzis, sauna steam room, fresh water pool and the waterfalls! It was amazing ! We also had access to salt lake which is situated in the middle of the resort and only available to kings lake and prestige hotel customers. It was a large lake made from the sea water and had coral and fish in it, we were able to swim it it and sunbathe here! It was beautiful and we more often came here instead of the beach or our hotel pools.
For breakfast we eat at plaisirs which was situated on our hotel premises, it was very very posh and the service from the staff was outstanding. The food was beautiful, we chose from a menu unlike the buffet resaurants and there was also a selection of cereals, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, bread, juices etc. the staff in the restaurant were very friendly and attentive and made our breakfast times pleasant relaxing and enjoyable.
Lunch was either at sandy lane beach restaurant or prestige beach restaurant again we could choose from a menu and it was 3-4 courses!!! The food at both restaurants was fantastic fresh and very tasty. Adel worked at prestige restaurant and he was very polite, friendly, smart and attentive he always served us when we ate there, was very chatty and couldn't do enough for us ! He also bought complimentary snacks and drinks down to us when we were on prestige beach! The guys that worked at sandy lane were also very polite and friendly and the service there was brilliant.
In the evenings we ate at either the Italian la piazzetta or the steak house Petrus.Staff at the steak house also worked at sandy lane so it was familiar faces which was nice and yet again they provided top service to us. The steak house was our favourite food ... The steaks were to die for!!
The Italian restaurant was also lovely serving freshly cooked very tasty food and yummy desserts and the staff were fantastic !!
The restaurant plaisirs which was on our hotel premises (where we ate breakfast) was a reservation only restaurant in the evening and even then you could only eat there if the men had smart long trousers. We were not allowed to eat here because of this rule. This was the only thing about prestige that I felt let it down. We paid a hell of a lot of money to upgrade here so felt that we should have been able to eat here and that such rules were maybe a little over the top .The temperature was 41degrees on some days...and 35degrees at night... Who takes a suit with full length trousers on holiday to wear in that heat ?
We had a personal club car driver called naser he was a very nice man always smiling !! He took us wherever we wanted to go on the resort from our hotel reception and bought us back whenever we asked :) he made us laugh he was funny and very friendly.
Staff on prestige reception were also very friendly and the room service and cleaning was excellent as well.
On our last day our flight wasn't until 9.30pm, we were allowed to keep our room all day until we left so that we could shower and get ready to leave which was really good.
We thoroughly enjoyed our second week spent at prestige and have already decided we would like to return here. Having never stayed in a five star hotel before this definitely lived up to our expectations and beyond, we felt like royalty!! Thanks to all of the staff at prestige and the restaurants And also to harem where we stayed for our first week, for making our stay as fantastic as it was!! such an amazing two weeks .. We look forward to returning in the near future!!

Room Tip: We had a room on the upper level ... Beautiful sea views !!

we stayed here for 4 nights in July after upgrading from the Elisir part, this is the top hotel in the domina coral bay and it was so worth the upgrade, the rooms are getting a bit dated but are clean and tidy.
there are 2 pools in this part but you can use all the other pools but why would you as when we were there most of the day we were the only people using it.
but for us the best part was the staff which were all so friendly and helpful they made the holiday even better many thanks to you all for a lovely stay and we hope to come back and see you all again as soon as can

First day had to upgrade to Prestige (£160 each) that's when the problems started ..it seemed to b a customised upgrade prestige for some things and sub standard for others..we wont be back and won't be recommending this place.. is a fair three star which needs upgrading the buffet at Oasis is a canteen form the sixties ,,,its too big and you need buses everywhere ..its confusing where you can and cant eat..e felt we had to bargain for everything that was supposed to be all inclusive...nightmare of a place...the supermarket staff are nothing short of thief's... medical centre couldn't wouldn’t recommend a dentist outside the hotel...not good when your in agony ..Prestige accommodation and staff the only good thing about a nightmare 14 days...

Room Tip: Prestige very good Domina Bay managment very poor
