I arrived here on the 23rd May I'm here for 2 weeks I have been to sharm and stayed in other hotels but this beats them all the food is great no upset stomache. One of the best things is the entertainment team especially Adriano and Jorden they are really friendly get everyone to join in without being pushy and the nights out to the clubs are great ! The hotel also caters for families well they have mini kids discos at night which are fun to watch and the waterslides and kids club. The only suggestion I do have is that they need life guards at the pool where the slides are but all in all 5 out of 5 will be back in October.

Room Tip: Get the superior room a lot more space

Had a great week at this hotel. We were welcomed with a drink before a porter delivered our bags to our room.

We arrived on a late flight and so were pretty peckish but this was catered for on the hotel's all inclusive program as there is a late dinner between the hours of 11pm and midnight. The all inclusive bar is also open till midnight. There was a great variety of food including salads, breads, cheeses, meat and veg hot dishes, carvery, pizza, pastries and other desserts across 2 restaurants. The only problem was there was no a/c in the restaurant at the time of our stay however one could dine al fresco but the mosquitoes liked me too much for that.

We were very impressed with our double room. The beds were very comfortable and a great size. Free bottles of water were placed in our rooms daily. There is also a minbar if you really need it but there are shops next to the hotel which sell all the snacks you will need. Whichever room you have you are always close to a pool and one of the bars. As girls with straighteners and phone chargers we'd recommend bringing an extension lead as we didn't find any spare sockets in the room and unplugged a few lamps.

We were disappointed to find no gym onsite but we were able to use the gym in the hotel next door as it's all owned by the same guy. You also have access to the private beach across the road which has an all inclusive bar and private area for the hotel. There's a shuttle bus but it's probably quicker to just cross the road.

There's free wifi which is strongest in the lobby. All the fixtures and fittings are beautiful. Lots of marble. Beautiful pools and so many of them.

We would definitely return here. The staff really go above and beyond to cater for the guests.

Well what can I say about this hotel.....
First impressions where very very good, we arrived and was greeted with a drink and a cold towel, as it was 40 degrees at 5pm.... This was nice, we checked in and the bell boys shown us to our room we didn't have to lift a case... This was nice,...

We got to our room and it was pool facing which was a bonus, it's a nice family room with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with balcony which the sun shines on most of the later part of the day until the sun goes down.
While unpacking we where visited by a waiter with a complementary plate of fruit, this was nice.

The first morning we decided to lie near the kids pool in the centre of all of the other slides. This was a nice central locate for us as we have 2 kids, 5 & 2 years old.
The first thing we noticed was that the pool attendants came straight over and set our towels up for us on our beds... It's so cute as they have smaller wicker sun beds for the kids also just a mini version of the adults wicker beds. Throughout the day waiters serve you your drinks but they will not let you collect drinks from the bar, this has its plus points and negative points. Plus is that you never have to visit the bar, negative is that you can be waiting up to half an hour for your drink to arrive.... I ended up going to the bar myself and ordering again as the waiter was obviously quite busy, but he still insisted on brining them over to us.... I think when the hotel is full they certainly need more waiters on the bars.

Just an FYI for everyone that will be visiting soon... And I hate to be negative but here are some things you may wish to know...

1, There is building work being carried out around the complex, I would say there is about at least another 8 months work until its all completed.
2, The wave pool is only half built, but this is at the rear of the complex hidden out of the way, you can wee this work when you climb the stairs for some of the water slides.
3, The water slides open at about 10:30am and close again for lunch at 12pm then reopen at about 2pm till 5pm
4, As you may know none of the al a carte restaurants are open.
5, The drinks in your room fridge are chargeable, but at a reasonable price, and they have chocolate in them and crisps, few soft drinks and few beers..
6, The roof top bar is also not included in the all inclusive package and is chargeable.
7, I have been around the world with all inclusive packages and I would have to say they don't really get the jist of this in the restaurants. There isn't an awful lot of choice, especially for the kids. Unless you feed the kids chips and pizza for 2 weeks, it's not really that good a choice, but what there is it's very nice indeed, presentation of food is excellent and very clean.

I guess, you could say this hotel is a work in progress and if and when all the work is completed they will deffo need more staff around the pool.

I know the points below may sound negative, but believe me when I say this hotel once completed will be a fantastic 5 star hotel.

They also have entertainment on a night time and a kids mini disco at 8:30pm, which my kids loved.

There is a free bus that takes you to the beach which is about a 10 min ride away, not done this yet but will be venturing out sooner or later.

Please enjoy when you arrive you won't be disappointed!!

Dear Mosstimothy,

Your detailed feedback expresses a great enjoyment of our services and facilities while actually holidaying at Le Royal Holiday Resort.

We would like to thank you for your stay and comments on which we would like to complement a few points. For the readers’ better understanding, the building works referred to are in no case construction works but installation of the last ready-made Aqua Park game which will be completed in the three days after this response is published. The wave pool will be operating maximum a week after and any finishing, decoration works in the resort will be executed in not more than six weeks without any impact on customers relaxation.

We have enhanced our kid food offering in the last days and we believe now, that the “Kid’s Corner” has increased in popularity with our little guests and with their parents as well.

We are grateful for your opinion and wish you to complete your sojourn in style.

Kind regards,

Denis Dernault

We were at the Le Royal, 11th May.. what can I say the place was amazing... we had a superior room which was Ideal for myself Fiancé and his 14 year old son.place is immaculate..King size beds are to die for!! and the fold up bed too.. so comfortable..
large walk in powerful shower with big white fluffy towels.. the hotel was gorgeous, spotless and we were made to feel very welcome.. The manager Dennis spoke with us a few times he was friendly and approachable at any time, the staff were all amazing too they couldn't do enough for all the guests, and brilliant with the kids, especially Mohammed he was top notch! he's at the top pool he was always bringing drinks over any time we required at the pool...the food was really too good choices we couldn't fault anything..would go back in a jiffy! in fact we hope to go back next year. I would love to say a big thank you to all at Le Royal for making our holiday so special one of the best holiday we've had and felt totally rested.. it was a break for us before our wedding in Aug to do just that! and appreciated all the hard work you and your team at Le Royal did to make our holiday pleasurable.

On arrival at the hotel we were pleasently suprised by how beautiful the hotel was, as the initail pictures did not do the hotel justice. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout the entire trip and they could not do enough for you. The rooms were imaculate when we arrived and the cleaners kept them that way throughout the entire trip, while adding a few personal touches with the towel art, which was always entertaining to see when we arrived back at the room. One particular cleaner named ashraf really went out of his way to make sure we were happy with our room, he made an effort to chat with us and seemed genuinely interested in our holiday experience. The entertainment team did a fantasic job in delivering the entertainment programme, they work long hours and remain enthusiastic throughout the day and night. The entertainment programme consisted of stretching, aqua aerobics, darts, volley ball, water polo, nightly shows, and nightly trips out of the resort. These trips out are great for anyone who is a bit worried about going off the resort alone and they were all great value for money. The trips went to Space, Pacha, Taj Mahal, Pataya Beach, Hard Rock Cafe, Little Buddah and Soho Square. The food in the hotel was great with plenty of options to choose from. I ate something different the majority of the time for the two weeks I was there. Overall the holiday was fantasic, it was relaxing when we wanted it to be and when we wanted to partake in activites it was available. I would highly recomend this hotel to all.
