We visited The Savoy for the very first time this Easter holidays, and what a place it was! The service was first class from the very beginning, the hotel itself was beautiful, and stunning gardens, the hotel was extremely clean. All the staff was we're very helpful, smartly dressed and always had a smile for you, they made us feel so welcome. The rooms were cleaned every day and always had a fresh supply of 'English tea' for us so we could have a cuppa before bedtime. There were a couple of members of staff who, stood out for us everyday, and this was our special 'Mr. Mohamed Bakely' - the best pool & towel man in the business, also Abdula and his pool bar staff who made the best Piña Coladas and Green Eye cocktails ever!! the food in all the restaurants was top class, the Zen Chinese was our favourite. soho square was full of entertainment and kept everybody busy, and we weren't pestered by anybody to buy gifts, which as lovely. We will be re-visiting this hotel very soon, hopefully next Easter. 'The Francis Family, Essex,UK'

Room Tip: We had a garden view room, which was very peaceful and quiet and night

Dear Guest,

We are delighted that you enjoyed your 01st stay here at the Savoy. We do take a lot of care over the presentation of the hotel itself and the gardens in general in order to make the entire experience relaxing and confortable for all our guests. We are very pleased that you have highlighted some of the staff for specific praise even though you say that all the staff are a credit to us. Lots of training, lots of attention to detail and then some more training all combined with top quality facilities for our staff, mean they get the best out of the Savoy and they will put the best back into it.

The Savoy has earned a reputation second to none for outstanding quality and service. Every feature has been designed to enhance our guests' experience. The Savoy embodies the highest traditional values, with exceptional restaurants, bars and entertainment. Spread over 200,000 m² of lush tropical foliage, waterfalls and serene surroundings, the Savoy lies at the heart of the spectacular White Knight Beach on the Red Sea in the South Sinai Peninsula of Egypt. The area is renowned for its natural beauty with a rich variety of flora and fauna, desert and majestic mountains. The hotel is 8 km from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport and in front of SOHO Square.

Thank you registered with the Savoy Club during your stay. This is our loyalty program and you will earn discounts and upgrades during you stay here. Look on our website for more details. Do let us know when you are planning to return and we’ll see what we can do to make your stay even more memorable.

We look forward to seeing you again soon.

I have just returned from my second visit to the Savoy on S class ultra all inclusive. It lived up to last time and I had a truly amazing time. I was in sharm over the Easter weekend and the hotel really got into the spirt of Easter.

The reception desk was well manned and Tamar looked after us not just on arrival but throughout our visit. We were welcomed warmly and were given a refreshment. During check in, Tamar asked where we would like to eat for our evening meal and promptly booked a table for us at the Steak house in SoHo square. We were then shown to our sea and pool view room. The room was very clean and we had a welcome bottle of fizz and fruit platter. I stayed in a twin room and the beds were specious in size and extremely comfortable. 2 huge pillows for your head, a robe and pair of slippers. The balcony was huge also with 2 chairs, a sofa and table. All in all very nice. It was cleaned very well every day.

The pool area.
Sensational... We were looked after by M. Bakly who greeted us with a smile every morning and put our pool towels out on our loungers for us. We had loads of room around the pools, as the loungers are not cramped together. For the 2 of us we had a lounger each, a chair and a parasol plus 2 spare loungers either side of us. The pool area is spotless with lifeguards looking out for your safety. We could leave our phones and iPods out and they were safe whilst we went in the pool or walked down to the stunning beach. When we were sunbathing we were looked after by Zakaria Moris. He was extremely attentive to our needs, brought us our drinks which were all included in the S class package. He suggested cocktails and made some of his own which were very yummy.

S Class
Well having travelled all over the world, this is by part the best all inclusive package I have ever had. I do not usually do all inclusive, as I like to dine out and eat a range of different food, but with this package you can do that. Every night you can dine at a different restaurant, drink fine wine, spirits and branded drinks all for the price of the S Class. It is fantastic.

Every restaurant Is top quality, the Italian Rosemarino is a favourite along with the steakhouse but having ate at all the restaurants I can recommend them all. At lunch we were always looked after extremely well by Taha and Hussain along with mina in the Rocky Pool bar. The choice of snacks is great and make sure you have some ice cream!

A little tip, make sure you join the Savoy Club, you get points for your stay. I used these to extend my checkout time till 6 and to get 2 massages at the spa. All for FREE! The spa was excellent, whilst I was there I had a body scrub, 2 anti stress massages, and a full body massage. These were amazing, Tammy and Julia really looked after me and mum really well.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough, the service, staff, quality Is outstanding and I will be visiting for a third time again later in the year. Keep up the great work!

Dear Reviewer,

Thank you for returning to the SAVOY Hotel Sharm El Sheikh for your second holiday, and for having taken the time to share your experience on this forum. Your "Amazing"comments are very valuable to us.

The S-Class all-inclusive is probably the best plan in Egypt in that you have so many eating and drinking options during your stay as well as a free massage, laundry, bowling and ice skating. And then quality of the restaurants would rival many a top London establishment.

We do appreciate your positive review of the hotel and its facilities including the spacious rooms, pools, beach, variety of restaurants, and special turn down housekeeping service. The Savoy and Soho Square offer guests a unique experience. The luxury of a hotel and resort with its own private beach fronting the Red Sea and the buzz of a square mile of restaurants, bars, discos and shopping. It's the place to be and to be seen. By day, enjoy sunbathing, swimming or the best scuba diving in the world. In the evening, be part of the excitement in Soho Square, the centre of the town's nightlife.

Thank you for the good comments about our colleagues at Reception and the pool & each areas. These comments are always very well received. This is a result of intensive training in terms of language skills, health & lifestyle and customer service which is delivered in our own Hotel Training School which is unique in Egypt and the Middle East.

Thank you also for the kind words for our staff who will be delighted to read this.

We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Kind regards,

Jacques PETER

This was our first holiday to Sharm since the birth of our twin boys 9 months ago and we were advised by Dan at Holiday Designers that the Savoy would be the best hotel to go to.
He was as always spot on!!
The Savoy is a great hotel with probably the best all inclusive programme anywhere in the world and the friendliest most helpful staff ever including Larissa in Guest Relations, Ali and Backley at the pool and Taha, Kyrollos and Zak at the Rocky Bar and Lunch Restaurant.
The help we were given with the boys was amazing even down to the hotel sterilising their bottles and dummies.
The food in all 14 restaurants was fantastic and we couldn't believe it was part of the All Inclusive programme. We loved the fact that we could walk around in the evening in Soho Square, without being hassled, and sit and have a coffee and watch the entertainment, the fountains and the world going by.
The only things I could at a push find any fault with would be the top pool needing to be heated at this time of year, the sun beds having a sitting up option (especially helpful when feeding little ones), better quality wifi (especially as you are required to pay for it) and the shower screens in the bathrooms being wider so we didn't flood the bathroom.
That said we had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning.

With regard to the internet service in the hotel, as management stated we already have plans to have WIFI everywhere . This is in the pipeline but in the meantime, there is cable internet connection in some of the rooms and Wi-Fi is indeed free in SOHO Square. And for pool heating at that time been considered ,however it is a summer time no need to heat it .

Thank you for the good comments about our colleagues’ service. We do work hard with our staff to ensure that they enjoy their job and this shows in the service they offer. Accordingly, the Savoy team spares no effort to ensure that all guests enjoy the same high-quality service.

Thank you also for the kind words for our staff who will be delighted to read this.

Just returned from a full months holiday at the Savoy on 13 April. This is the 3rd visit in 5 months, so we have spent 10 weeks in total at the Savoy. What can we say? We just cannot get enough of this great hotel. Superb setting, excellent restaurants, a team of dedicated staff at all levels .It is within 3 minutes walk from Soho Square, with its superb variety of restaurants , live entertainment, shops without any hard selling, and much , much more. Some hotel staff which we would like to thank are pool boys, Muhamad Shaker and, Muhamad Bakly. Also our pool waiter, Atef. The reception team, Michael and John and all the Guest Relations girls. The concierge team, with Awad and Yayah getting a special mention. Perhaps the egg chef at breakfast never gets a mention, but I would like to nominate Hany for his amazing skills to juggle 8 frying pans at the same time , with omelettes etc!! He always greeted me with the biggest smile each morning despite the pressures. Anyway, everyone deserves a mention but it isn't possible to do so. You are all amazing!!! Looking forward to seeing you all again in a weeks time when we arrive on 4 May for yet another months holiday. That's a recommendation in itself.!!

Dear Guest,

Reviews from our repeat guests are very much appreciated and , I’m so pleased you enjoyed your 03rd holiday with us and will certainly return. Thank you for choosing the Savoy and for the positive feedback concerning our staff and the quality of service.

You commented on the quality of our service and we are very proud of our staff. They do a fantastic job, miles away from home and appreciate the smiles and compliments from our guests so very much.

Here at the Savoy, we believe that having choices is one of the most important factors of a good holiday so we have developed our resort into a small world of choices to keep our guests entertained and amused during their stay. But of course, for those who just want to chill, the beach, the pools, the spa and the lounges and bars will be just perfect.

We all look forward to seeing you again on 4 May .

Kind regards,

This was our first time in Egypt and we chose the Savoy based on the reviews on TripAdvisor.
Well it was everything that was promised and more!

We went S Class and could not believe the variety of food available. The service, quality and attention to detail was fabulous. We ate at Seafood Island, Rosmarino, Eest, Morgana, Entrecote, Hot Rock and Teppanyaki. Each was special in its own right. Our favourite was probably Eest but we enjoyed every mouthful in every restaurant. Just a quick word of advice here....gentlemen do not need a jacket for the Gala Dinner!

The setting and grounds of the hotel are beautiful and the walk down to the beach surrounded by the flowers, a visual delight.

The snorkling from the beach was an absolute highlight. If you can, take an underwater camera. Then go back and relax on the beach whilst somebody brings you a cocktail...heaven!

Of course what sets the hotel apart and puts many establishments in England to shame is the fantastic service. It is difficult to mention people by name as all the staff are amazing but some of our favouites were Mina in Seafood, Bakly who had our towels ready every day, Zack for his brilliant pool service and Tammy for her lovely massages. Also a big thank you to our cleaner in 6235 who always greeted us with a lovely smile.

Without spoiling it for anyone, the hotel provides surprises and treats.....so appreciated.

We cannot wait to go back!!!

Dear Reviewer,

Good Day from Sharm El Sheikh – City of Peace & Tranquility

Firstly, we are delighted that you chose the Savoy for celebrating your “ Fabulous’ anniversary and may you have a wonderful and happy life together. And it’s lovely to hear that you really enjoyed your holiday with us. If you want fantastic and varied food, excellent service (with a smile) and all in a beautiful location, then don’t look any further than the Savoy.

We are pleased that you enjoyed the S-Class. It gives you so much freedom to eat and drink anywhere you like throughout the resort. You will need to book for dinner but that’s no great hardship. And gentlemen, don’t forget the long trousers and closed shoes at dinner in our fine-dining à la carte restaurants.

We do have an amazing location for our resort. Set on beautiful White Knight Beach with its spectacular coral and marine life, it offers divers and snorkelers an incredible, unforgettable experience. As you said, we are also close to so many of the attractions in South Sinai and can offer approved and trusted excursions through our concierge.

You have written such a detailed and comprehensive review extolling the virtues of all the staff you met and all the facilities that you enjoyed here at the Savoy. We do try hard and it’s wonderful when the staff get the recognition they deserve.

We do hope that you will return soon and enjoy the beautiful sunny resort at the Savoy once more. Perhaps we’ll see you here to celebrate your next anniversary?

Kind regards,

Jacques PETER

We went to Savoy for the first time 18th - 22nd April. We have 3 children and we enjoyed our holiday to the maximum! The staff is amazing (the best I've ever seen) Mando on the beach was very friendly and he made us feel pampered at the beach. Everyone else was very polite and nice. They have a great animation team: volleyball, yoga at the beach, stretching classes. The animation team was very good with children too..they made nice activities like face painting. The kids club is amazing! If you have a toddler you can leave him/her there from 9-5 if you wish or if you want to enjoy a quiet lunch, you can drop them there too..they have great activities to keep them engaged, they even serve them lunch..no charge for anything! I was really amazed by how this hotel is not looking for money. It is actually targeting people enjoy themselves and have the most fun. Snorkeling was great right off the beach. The restaurants were great too..breakfast was amazing with a lot of varieties. Morgana restaurant served an open buffet lunch by the beach. They had a live band by the beach which was also nice. What can I say..I enjoyed every bit of my holiday..Soho square: skating, bowling, dancing fountain, live show on easter night. The only thing I recommend to improve is the internet service at the hotel. If you have to work, it's not very well established. To have internet at the room, you have to have a laptop to connect a cable. If you're following with the phone or ipad, it will only work at the lobby or by the pool. Wifi should be available everywhere. Also once the bathroom was not very clean after they made up my room but I called, and they came right away and were very polite even when I asked the man to come back because he thought I only wanted the floors dry. Afterall, the hotel was 100 percent occupied so I can't complain about that :) Also once the Asian restaurant was already closed at 11, I called the room service and told them I really want sushi..so they got me from Soho square! I mean what hotel pampers their guests that much! Thank you Soho team you're great!

Room Tip: We booked a sea view room but got a garden view room (6015 and 6014 ) because the hotel was full. Ga...
