My wife and 8 year old daughter stayed there in May for 10 days. We were greeted with a juice and cold towel which was welcoming. Check in took only 10 mins and we were transported to our room by golf buggy. The food at this hotel is outstanding. The buffet restraunt here is as good as some al le carte restaurants I have used with a different theme every night. We did try the oriental and Egyptian and we were looked after like VIP,s, the menus were amazing and the wine menu served by the bottle. It did not feel like you were in an all inclusive hotel. Most evenings we had a few drinks in the wonder bar and Mohammed made sure we did not have to move from our seats. A lovely touch is that the staff take time to remember your children's names and always have smiles for you. A little tip, take lots of single dollars for tipping. It's cheaper tan £1 coins but it means the staff can change the notes. We tipped the bar staff a couple of dollars each night which is not a lot but it makes a big difference to them as they work long hours to take care of your every need. The same with the room cleaner. We left a couple of dollars every other day and we got lovely towel art and our mini bar was always full. We all had tummy problems but a trip to the chemist and you can get ANTINAL. It workers better than anything I have used before and was the best £6 I ever spent. If you are going to this hotel you will have a fantastic and ubforgetable holiday. We never go back to the same hotel, but are looking to go back next year.

My fiance and I returned from a fantastic 2 week holiday late last night! The rooms are very clean and a cut above anywhere I've ever been in Europe!! The food is very good, I'm allergic to shellfish, wheat and gluten and always found something to eat. Breakfast is a little odd, I would reccommend waiting for an ommelette, even though the queue is always quite long!! Most things at the buffet resteraunts are cooked in front of you! The Egyptian a la carte is well worth a visit and I would reccommend going to the mai tai at lunch times. There's less choice but less people. We sat indoors at lunch and breakfast as the birds were begging for food outside. The staff are amazing and do everything they can to ensure you do as little as possible. If you want to tip, use English £1 coins, when they get £10 worth they'll ask if you can swap them for a £10 note. The gardens are beautiful and very well kept. If you want a sun bed around the relax pool, you need to get up early to reserve them with your towels. I was there at 7AM most mornings. The prime spot is close to the pool bar as this gets the sun all day, but you will have to be there before 7AM! There are loads of beds around the activity pool though, whatever time! Evening entertainment is the only thing that lets this hotel down, it wasn't very good, sometimes not even starting until 11PM! If you fancy something a little British, the Union Jack bar is a short walk away, go out the main gate and turn left, up to a round about and its on the left! Its about a 5 minute walk! They show all the football etc. just be aware of the man on a camel who wanders up and down the street. He will get off his camel for a chat, he's friendly enough but essentially just wants to charge you for a ride!! And it stinks!!! Thomson overcharge for excursions, but the rep is always about. If you're unlucky enough to get travellers tummy or any other minor ailment, don't use the on site DR, go to the pharmacy (next to the union jack bar) It's much cheaper and much less hassel! Overall this was a fantastic holiday, the strawberry cocktails are to die for and my better half assures me the local larger was good too! Egypt's airport has duty free shops which are very expensive actually. Have plenty to eat before you go home as the food in there is not good at all!! The pool bar has a selection of rolls, I'd reccommend putting a couple in your bag to eat at the airport. Also, If you have food allergies like me, Thomson do not sell anything gluten free on their aircrafts, so prepare to be quite hungry!! Finally, snorkelling is a must! The hotel has its own jetty and the fish are amazing, I'm really scared of the sea but I'm so glad I did it!! If you don't fancy it, you can still spot loads of fish by just taking a walk down the jetty!!

Room Tip: The fridge in the room was stocked up daily with coke, orange and water although it wasn't very...

Just returned from this hotel had an amazing 2 weeks...... my partner and I had the most relaxing time.
The tranfer from airport to hotel 20mins on arrival at hotel quick check-in and transfer to room.
We recommend the massages well worth it ....... watch out the guys are really good sales people you have to haggle (makes it all more fun).
The standard of the hotel was 5 star dont be put off by people moaning the food choice is untrue... make sure you try the al'carte restaurants amazing!!!!! The hotel is very clean and staff are helpful you just have to ask and they will help. Don't be put off regarding tummy issues it could happen anywhere..... just be mindful to take hand disinfectant use before handling food.
There was a different theme every evening and the staff took part to ensure you enjoyed the experience.
We went on the VIP cruise and it was worth every penny £60 each a full day.... we went snorkeling with the fish never seen anything like it and I hate the sea ....the crew were very caring and took great care of anyone who were beginners which made you feel safe.
We would certainly recommend this accomodation and would definately return.

This was our fourth visit to Sharm and fifth to Egypt but this one will live long in our memory, with the exception of the flights there and back which have now become long and tedious with no entertainment etc, but Thompson have decide to go down that road.
We were in block 17, which we found central and far enough from everything but close enough to everything to enjoy all, although due to the lay out of the grounds and amenities we never seemed to go the same way twice, the rooms boy was exceptional nothing was too much trouble for him always asked if we needed anything and wished us a good day, and boy does he work long hours but this has to be said for all other staff members.
The main restaurant was always clean and the variety and choice of food would take some beating, and as fussy eaters we never failed to enjoy the food. We were lucky enough to experience the Mai Thai which was great but why do people have to smoke or be able to smoke while other guest are eating ??? Perhaps CML should think of making a section of the restaurants smoke free which would surely improve the pleasure and experience of all.
All staff worked hard and were attentive if not always appreciated by their bosses, one that needs a special mention is Ahmed Mohammed (aka Rio) who had only been at the hotel for two weeks but made the evenings that little bit special with his own special way of keeping people entertained and happy making the evenings MAGIC, never forgetting what drink we drank and even the names that we gave the drinks.
The Relax pool was as it says the place to go to relax but hey who wants to get up so early to get a sunbed, and the activity pool is where the action is but still room to chill, but we found the beach outstanding always beds available and if you couldn't find any the beach boys were always able to help and find some for you and the beach bar was a gods send just a stroll away and as much drink as you could ever wish for if not always a smile from the waiter, and no need to walk back to the hotel for food as the Mai Thai was just on the beach and their chicken fajitas were just so good.

Downs
Slight draw back was the massage/beauty/spa staff pestering you every day, even after my wife and I had booked two sessions, to book up with them, another slight let down was the snorkelling off the jetty which was good but not as good as the experience we had last year when at the Sensatori, also the camel man be careful of the rides but everyone will warn you of this.

Arrived in early evening after good Thomson flight with plenty of legroom and very pleasant crew. No entertainment but flight still went over quickly. After quick check in we went to rooms we had requested a quiet room on upper floor near beach (block 15) and this was what we got we had been upgraded to a junior suite which was a very pleasant surprise. We travelled with our daughter and son in law who had booked a suite and this was absolutely superb. The rooms were very clean and we had no problems with them during our stay.
As this was our first time in Egypt we were a little concerned on previous reviews regarding the mention of illness in the hotel but none of us in our party were affected a little bit of runny tummy but we put this down to combination of different food and drink and definately not to the hygiene in the hotel which was superb with the chef on the egg station in the morning advising people who asked for undercooked eggs about the health risks of this and the food was all being freshly cooked to an excellent standard. A different theme every night and the staff decorated the buffet in the various themes.
We mainly went on the beach but when we used the pool there was plenty of sunbeds to choose from and we were there about 9 am but still some available in the afternoon so dont know how the people say they couldnt get one.
Shuttle bus to Naama bay or Sharm market only 5e pp return very good value Old sharm market very interesting but if u dont like being hassled dont go the shopkeepers are very forceful when trying to get u into shops but if u do then hagglings the game.
All in all a very good hotel with very pleasant and helpful staff dont think you would be disappointed choosing this hotel and was a good choice for our first visit.

Room Tip: Hotel didnt seem too noisy but the ones near to beach which we requested were very quiet

not one bad thing to say about whole holiday. the staff never stop, the place is very clean and the food is all cooked well with a big selection, you can order macdonalds from reception and they do a bigger big mac (4 burgers). WATCH OUT FOR THE CAMEL MAN ON THE BEACH. we where warned he gets you on the camel and charges you around £100 gbp tocome down, he sits on the beach near jetty! mai thai food was unreal! not much more to say other than if you are going to sharm come here! :) will definatley go back!

Room Tip: 18314 room is in block 18 best block, next to everything, most central block
