Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheikh Resort

The Hotel is stunning, it is a low level resort, set in beautiful gardens. it is a beach side resort located between some of the top dive sites in Sharm. The Near Garden and Far Garden. This can save you a lot of money as you can get to these popular Reefs from the beach as opposed to a boat trip each day.
The hotel has good facilities and has six restaurants • Souk, • Sala Thai, • Cafe Fresco, • Stars Music Bar, • Beach House Bar & Grill, • Cascades Pool Restaurant & Bar, • Azure Lounge.
The Souk is the most fun once you get used to the concept! It is an out door eating courtyard. The Choices are The Pasta Bar, The Meat Bar, Sweet Counter, The Bar!! The Asian Bar, The Arabic Bar and the Seafood Counter. As you arrive you are given a bag of 'Coins' each with a value, all the food in the souk is priced in this currency. I loved this place as the choice was good, the food was a high standard and all freshly cooked and the Arabic Metze delicious.
After a relaxing 7 days it was time to go home, we had our room until 15.00 at no extra charge. All in all it was a fantastic stress free stay and I would recommend it to anyone.
I booked this package online with a company called Sunshine.co.uk, they were very slick, on line once I booked the package, parking & transfers, the email I recived included every voucher needed ,as well as an ATOL declaration of your purchase. I did not deal with the customer service part of the company as I did not have any problems. I was very happy with my transaction and would use this service again.
Just as a P.S. at the airport on the way home, a group of people were very unhappy with their experience of Sharm and the Hotel they were in (not the Hyatt) they had been ill, the hotel was poor, no Beach. BUT it transpired that they had paid £250.00 pp All Inclusive for the hoilday!!!!! So dont forget that you really do get what you pay for!

The grounds and surrounds of the hyatt are lovely, and the pools are great for a variety of swimming and people watching.
For Egypt, the food was really excellent - the Cascades bar at lunch served some great value dishes and had excellent service, and at night served some of the best food I've eaten (not just in Egypt). The Souk, once you've worked out how it works, is a great place to get variety if you and your family do not all want the same thing. The Thai restaurant is also as good as any I've eaten at in the UK, and I believe has thai chefs - and you can tell. It is a 5 star resort so the food is more expensive than you will pay for outside of the hotel, but worth it.

As with many Egyptian hotels, 5 star doesn't necessarily mean 5 star. Whilst it is a very good class of hotel, there are just a few details that need to become slicker and more tidy for this to be on an international 5 star level - there were a few bits in the room that needed refurbishing, and a more thorough clean than we got, and the service in the restaurants and at the lobby did vary (one morning our breakfast was cleared before we'd finished, whereas other times when we ate we were left waiting for 20 minutes to get a dessert menu).
However, these are small things and if you are looking for relaxed comfort and good service this is worth a visit - and we would probably return here if we came back to Sharm.

It is well worth hiring a snorkel and getting out onto the reef - the fish and sealife are excellent, and such a short walk from the pool that you can't really say no!

This is our 2nd trip to stay at the Hyatt. We upgraded to a suite in the regency club. Worth the cost. It gives access to a private beach and pool. Soft drinks and attentive service beside the pool and the beach. Evening canapes and drinks in the club house before deciding where to eat .Thank you Georges and Mohamed for your care and service.
The restaurants available in the hotel are of a good standard, but we were disappointed with the souk and Cascades was only open 4 nights a week during our stay. Our favourite was the Thai ,the chefs were delightful and gave advice on which dishes to try. Attentive staff at the tables and a delightful greeter Christina who always found us a table of my husbands choice. Thanks
The suite was comfortable and kept to a good standard with plenty of water tea and coffee if required . The only down was the turn down service was a little early in the evening . I felt a little rushed to be out of the bathroom in time.
Overall a fantastic holiday and we will be back

Room Tip: Upstairs suite for couples Downstairs for family If you can pay the extra club rooms worth it.

We have just returned from an 11 night stay at this wonderful hotel.

From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel so very welcome. The level of service in the Regency Club cannot be faulted and all who work there are a credit to the hotel management. They were always so cheerful, the breakfast and evening canapes and drinks were of a very high standard which made our stay all the more enjoyable.

Our bedroom was large, clean with fantastic views out over the beautiful gardens and views to the sea. Cascades and Sala Thai were our favourite restaurants at the Hyatt.

The Regency beach was clean, well run and the staff were always there to help. The snorkling off the beach was superb and we can't wait for our next trip back in September. Thank you to all at the Hyatt Sharm for a memorable holiday and cannot recommend this hotel more highly.

Was on a return stay in the hotel after 2 or 3 years
The hotel is clean, staff is very friendly and helping, the rooms are OK, the grounds are fine.

The small things started to pop up, though:
- housekeeping not that prompt on request
- the entertainment and food options are starting to get bland - I was fed up with breakfast, for example at my second day, lunch variety is non-existing, dinner was fine, though
-AC seems to be making noise only, no real influence on the temperature inside
-to print out a couple of pages from e-mail account you need to buy at least 30 min costing you 10 bucks from business centre (even though you already paid a hefty 20 USD per 24h internet access), no offer made to send the docs to employee e-mail account
- and the major problem - the in-house coral reef sea life is far from the level I expected from the previous stay.

now will not return, unfortunately!

We have just returned from our two week stay at the Hyatt in Sharm. We have been going there for many years and find it to be an excellent hotel.
The food is of a very high standard and all the restaurants offer a wide choice. Our personal favourite is Cascades, the standard is amazing and the quality of the food served is excellent.
Although the Sala Thai is very good also!

Sharm is still quiet and needs the tourists to return. We have continued to travel to Sharm and stay at the Hyatt, because we feel safe and there has been no trouble for a long time.

We can throughly recommend the Hyatt in Sharm; the staff are very friendly and give fantastic service. The hotel is good value, the location is great and the rooms and gardens are beautiful.

Wee have been at this hotel several times but this time was not good. The hotel is worn and the rooms are old and not up to date to a 5 star hotel, it is four star!
Almost every day the red flag was hoist and snorkling cut not bee as useual. It was not realy windy. "I is better to have angry guests, than bad newspaper". If you want to enjoy the beautifull reef, consider your choice of hotel.
The staffs and other personal was wery helpfull and polite.
Price for food is rather high.
Wee will not come back.
