This is the most beautiful resort I have ever been to! The view was spectacular, the food was delicious, and service was impeccable. I still dream of the bed and waking up to the view of the sea. My favourite part had to be the floating boardwalk which you could dive off of into corals and snorkel around all day long. The abundance of fish and life around the resort was incredible. All of the excursion boats which offered snorkelling would come to the bay in front of the Hyatt to enjoy the views. Overall it was a very romantic stay. Next time however, I might go with the half-board option instead of just the bed and breakfast. I can't imagine anything I could have asked for that this hotel could not offer and plan on returning with friends as soon as possible :)

Room Tip: We had an ocean view room with balcony which we really enjoyed - we took advantage of it when the be...

What can I say another amazing visit and holiday! We were again looked after like family and treated like old friends! The food in Souk was as good as ever, the entertainment wonderful and the staff lovely! Our room 7101 was amazing a front sea view with a corner balcony! Still miss my morning cup of tea on it! The beach and pool staff were as attentive as ever, the bar guys were lovely and all the shop staff kind and polite! One thing I noticed was a few people on TA had said Room Service was poor, we ordered it on a number of occasions and it was fast and the food excellent! Finally the laundry service is the best I have ever had in any hotel sent in the morning and back before tea time! Finally the room cleaning guys are fantastic always done quickly and wonderfully clean! Counting the weeks till we come back!

Our 3rd trip to the Hyatt Regency in Sharm. Following a speedy check-in late in the evening, we were taken to our room in a golf buggy, together with our bags. We stayed in a sea view room in the main hotel, not the Regency Club. I did ask how much it would cost to use the Regency pool and facilities and was quoted $60 per person per day. Taking into account the excellent facilities at the main hotel, this was not worth it for us. We were given one of the extended rooms at the end of the 2300 block, which was extremely spacious and had a wonderful sea view but a lenghty walk to the restaurants (which wasn't actually a bad thing). Bathroom had a large walk-in shower as well as a bath and the water pressure was very good. Samy (housekeeping) greeted us first thing the next morning, on our way to breakfast, and made sure he always came out of a room he was cleaning when he saw (or heard) us, just to say hello and exchange pleasantries and make sure everythig was ok with our room. I can only say he looked after us extremely well.
Breakfast covers every taste, including eggs every but which way, freshly made by the jolly egg man, who would do anything you asked. There was also the pancake stand but if you only want 1, say so right away, as the usual portion is 2 pancakes (they are quite small though). They are delicious, made in front of you and light and fluffy.
Due to the very low number of guests, the pool butler (Shabna?) was almost like our personal butler. He had our loungers ready for us when we arrived at the pool and would make sure we were ok throughout the day. If he saw us moving bed, parasol, etc., he would come running and move it for us. We were also very well looked after by the waiters from the cascade who offered the pool service. Service was always with a smile and waiters came regularly to check if there were any empties to collect or we needed anything else.
We only ate in the Souk as we love the variety of the food there. Our favourites were the Wok and Tahina. Both chefs would swap ingredients if requested and could not do enough to ensure that you got just what you wanted. The sweet stand chef also went out of his way and got me a sweet I wanted on the last day as he didn't have it. Most nights the whole service was wonderful but i think it depends who is in charge. One night the service felt a bit slow (on the waiter side) but this was after we had already gotten used to the excellent service for a few days and the constant topping up of our drinks, etc.
The entertainment quality was variable (Souk only). There seems to be an in-house entertainment group, who are very same-ish every night. They put on different costumes but the performances don't seem to differ much. Although they are not bad, it does get boring after a few days. The highlights were the young african athletes and the fire-dance crew, which I assume were hired separately. They were awesome.
It's a real shame that a lot of European countries are not allowing their people to fly to Egypt due to the political situation. The Hyatt seems to have retained most of their staff and most things are running as normal, even though the occupancy must be at about 30%, if that. Staff are keeping their smiles on and can't do enough for the customers that do go there, at the moent mainly english and russian. Although the Hyatt has always had very good service, at the moment it's outstanding and very personal due to the staff to customer ratio. Most staff seem to know their customers by name, which is an amazing feat considering the vast size of this hotel.
We spoke to a couple who went to the Four Seasons before and they said it was so snobby and unpersonal there, they wouldn't go back and couldn't believe the service at the Hyatt.
Can't wait to go back and would never even consider another hotel in Sharm

Such a stunning and pristine hotel.

The breakfast? oh my..it's a breakfast for a king. Literally you have the choice from and entire room of different stations. Staff are waiting to make things to order for you from omlettes to waffles with all the trimmings. There was practically an entire patisserie too. That is a breakfast you do not want to sleep through by accident!

One of my favourite things about this hotel was the fact that it has two beaches of it's own. The smaller of the two was our little sanctuary. We came in January so, it wasn't so busy but still very hot and sunny. The smaller beach and the coral that surrounds it is the best coral I've ever snorkelled in anywhere in the world. It was so nice to while way the hours with a coral reef practically to yourself. Amazing!!

The pools are beautifully clean and there are many to choose from, if you have kids there's a pretty big water slide that winds it was down through the slope of the property.

The "Soukh" restaurant in the hotel is also gorgeous, beautiful set high up so you can look out to sea through the arch on the stage. Lots of choice of cuisine from around the world and you pay in "debloons" as a currency. Nice and novel.

There are also gift shops up above this restaurant which sell nice trinkets and rugs and things.

Overall, this was a stunning hotel, a massive luxury for a nice week away.

:)

Very good facilities, cleanliness and excellence in personal service. The beach is very quiet and very interesting for snorkeling, you can see beautiful fish and corals.

We spent a weeks holiday at this very beautifully kept hotel in May, The hotel has excellent facilities, lovely pool areas and great beaches. We opted for the 'club' rooms and were not disappointed at all. The staff were professional, very friendly and very helpful. Night time entertainment was good and food in all the various restaurants was great! In fact we found everything was perfect!! - exceptionally friendly staff ,clean rooms, beautiful grounds .We found this hotel to be ideal for us - we enjoyed the whole experience and we be back again soon ..
