Cleopatra Tsokkos Richy Hotel
Ranked #208 of 231 Hotels in Sharm El Sheikh

Me and my new husband have just returned from the hotel from hell. Where to begin...firstly the hotel itself is completly different from the pictures advertised on the travel republic website. I think this is called FAULSE ADVERTISING! Secondly the pool was a disgrace and we found various objects in there such as a egg(seriously) broken glass, old toe nails and bits of egyption clothing as the egyption woman insisted on being fully clothed in the pool. Now thats not a problem but when you start finding pins in your feet from the clothing then it starts to get a bit annoying. The pool side is dirty and the staff were fist fighting on our first day. Our room had to be changed three times as it was not suiable for us. The first room was knackered and dirty such as cracks in the walls, the bathroom door had been punched in, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned and the bed hadnt been made. The french doors onto the what you could call a cramped balcony didn't even shut properly. We didnt feel safe in the hotel or even in our rooms as we chaisn and bolts on your doors. Whilst we were there a copule had money stolen from the cleaner in there own room and that was the only person in the hotel who had things taken. The food is ok at dinner time, breakfast dont bother and if you've had dinner expect the same for tea just warmed up. Me and my husband were ill with the food and stopped eating in the hotel for the last 5 days we were there and we wasnt ill anytime after that surprised? This was advertised as a four star hotel when it stated clearly in the reception area it is a three star, another bit of false information thanks to travel republic...what a company! Im not going to rate this hotel as it does not deserve one it needs closing down and refurbishing. Every detail travel republic have advertised is wrong, the beach is across a dual carraigeway and you have to pay to use the beach and is a fifteen minute walk not 100m like it is advertised. If you want entertainment then except for just watching staff argue or even fight there isnt anything to do at all in this hotel! animation team doesnt exist! The only good thing about the hotel is the manager who tried her best to make our stay enjoyable, i did feel sorry for her as she was the only one who seemed to want to clean the hotel make it a better place. Some of her staff were pleasent... well maybe 3 out of the whole staff. They were lazy and didnt want to clean anything its apparently the egyption way, still no excuse we even had to ask for towels for the showers and toilet roll since the cleaners dissappeared for 3 days or maybe just sat in the rooms watching tv they did that alot. So overall do not go to this hotel especially for your honeymoon.

I liked it here but it is basic. Pool lovely and the food is genuinely good but like most of egypt abit repetative. The chef will listen to you if you have any requests.
All the staff there are very friendly and helpful.I never felt hassled or unsafe there as a woman in egypt.Great cocktails by the pool at great prices. Most people go all inclusive but i was B&B.
The only let down is that they need some cleaners. It is clean like plates etc...but the rooms are not always cleaned to a high standard. Then again i payed next to nothing to stay here and i really can not complain. When i asked for my room to be cleaned they did it immediately.
I would go there again as value for value its great but here you make your own entertainment. IF you are looking for animation teams etc..this place is not for you. Its somewhere to eat and sleep; sunbathe and party.
IF your looking for 5star environment this is not it....but its 5star for friendliness and helpfulness.

Room Tip: They are a considerate hotel so any room near the pool is good as music goes off at midnight.

A simple yet comfortable hotel, food done either for you or you can get it buffet style, water as standard with your meals, rooms neat , clean, and tidy entertainment at night is quite good, some you will have seen befor, but still enjoyable, staff attentive and helpfull, no problem about ever going back again, would go anytime.

Room Tip: Rooms clean, tidy, go and enjoy , water in the swimming pool is very cold, but the weather is brilli...

Just returned fro the Cleopatra and found it to be an ok place. Nothing special but adequate for the sun!! maybe not as luxurious as the Iberotel Fanara but was just as friendly. Room was a bit worn but clean and food on par with other all inclusives. Once again staff friendly which i find wherever i go in Sharm, am a well travelled egypt person and cant not recommend the Cleopatra for value.

Room Tip: try and get a pool room if poss, they bit more modern
