I stayed at the hotel with my sister and parents in Nov-Dec '09. I could not fault the place at all. For my parents it was their second time staying at Ghazala Gardens but my sister and I tagged along to this one and were pleasantly surprised.
The staff at the hotel could not do enough for you from the moment we got there until the moment we left. My parents are already friends with some of the staff from their first visit and were over the moon that they had remebered them from 2 years ago! We spent the day at the Italian bar where we were constantly looked after (in a subtle way) by waiter Khaled and pool boys Abdou & Mahmood always with a smile and a wee chat! Rasha (girl from spa) would offer you treatments and there after just come over to see how your day was going!
Our rooms were forver spotless, even with the mess of shoes clothes and make up a pair 23 & 26 year old girls can create our cleaner worked wonders! Worked beyond his requirements with a smile!
We attended the spa on a few occasions which was fabulous so relaxing, comforting and helpfull, well worth a visit or 5!!
For meals we mostly ate in the buffet restraunts (we ate out a few times as after 2 weeks it became slightly repetative) but the staff were so wonderful and funny! We drank in the evening in the Ghazala garden cafe which was my favourite place in the hotel, the staff (now great friends of ours) are so attentive, friendly and respectful. Mohamed (Super Mo), Mohamed Fathy (Shisha Mo) and Helmy (my dream haha!) a few stars amongst a great team. They made our holiday a pleasure. The guys in the mango bar (ahmed & no name & boss Imon) and the cheesey disco upstairs were hilarious too always keeping the small but fun party going!
To sum it all up..... The place is fantastic but the hotel and the staff are incredible!!
See you in 2010 x

Amazing range of restaurants and choice of food... in 2 weeks we still were not bored....small hotel compared to most in the area and therefore calmer and quieter but... all the big water parks etc a stone throw away but great not to have the pressure within the hotel..

Lovely kids club and Ana was amazing with all the children and my son actually asked to go..... daily!!!

Well worth booking a junior suite as the extra room is phenominal and room balcony ends in the warm pool (ours in ther garden... perfect for a 3 year old)...

Food is great and there is always a kids corner with the needed basics... pasta nuggets etc... however across the four restaurants the food is varied and excellant.

having read some reviews before i left i was a bit concerned about the cleanliness .... all i can say is those who where negative probaly suffer from a severe case of OCD!!! Hotel is spotless . Will go back as it was so EASY AND ENJOYABLE .....

I stayed here with my Boyfriend for 2 weeks in November. We stayed in one of the suite rooms that lead directly into the pool - i would recommened paying the extra to stay in these rooms as they are lovely and the best! The hotel is really beatuifull and so well kept, the grounds are stunning.
The food at the hotel is good. We went out for dinner 5 nights out of our 15 as we enjoy going out for dinners and the food could get boring after 2 weeks. I think if you come to the hotel for one week there would be no need to go out for food but i think 2 weeks of the same 4 resturants can be boring. I would recommened booking up one of the la carte resturants for dinner every night as the buffet was not very nice at all. Me and my boyfriend only ate in there twice and we didnt barley eat anything! The mexican Resturant is the best but gets booked up very early - so you may want to book it a day or so in advance! For lunch we used to always eat in little italy where we would have fresh pasta and pizzas which were lovely. Most night we would drink in the lobby bar - which i think was the best bar, the waiters were so friendly and if you get to no them then you will normally get the same waiter every night and he will be bringing you over drink after drink all night!
The weather was lovely - we had about 3 days where it was cloudy but the other days where very warm prob about 26.
Overall we both had a really nice relaxing hoilday. The people who work at the hotel can not do enough for you and really help you 2 have a great time. Would definatley recommened this hotel to anyone who wants to have a relaxing break but be near to Namma bay! If i ever go back to Egypt again i would go back to the ghazala gardens without a 2nd Thought! Amazing!

We had planned to go AI with Hany and Mohamed upstairs as they always made us welcome and gave exceptional service also Helmy and Mohamed in the cafe are really great . The winding pools and one is even heated are lush. all the staff are friendly and the food and hygine second to none we did not expect that. we are planning to return next year.we had a great time thanks Christine thanks Ghazala and a happy new year.

We have just come back from eygpt and stayed at the Ghazala Gardens. We were extremely impressed with the location of the hotel, the lovely beach and the friendliness of the staff. The hotel is beautiful and lovely to walk through as paths wind past an almost river like connection of swimming pools. We have been going to eygpt for 10 years now, and this is our 2nd trip this year but a first for this hotel. We had a lovely room which went straight into the heated pool which was lovely and warm. The beach was sandy with an excellent dive centre on site. Our beach did seem to be the busiest but then our hotel was very popular as it is so nice. The whole hotel seemed to be well equipped for disabled people, of which there were a few, which meant getting around with a pushchair was really easy. We felt really relaxed whilst we were there and got regular updates about the chaos in England. The hotel has great customer service reps, Kat, who is english, is lovely.
The only let down for us was the food. But we are quite fussy eaters and nobody else complained. Most of the food was aimed at the 90% or so of German visitors. There was nothing to actually complain about, none of us were ill, and in general there was plenty of choice. We were all inclusive, and there were four different restaurants to choose from for lunch and dinner. The choice of drinks was also very good and always served with a smile.
As mentioned the hotel is nearly all German. For us this was great. They got up early, were quiet and did not fall about drunk (unlike the russians at the Hilton!),. We also felt that they were extremely polite and family orientated. Not like the usual benidorm crowd at some of the more british hotels! But in general this was a quiet hotel. Probably not the best hotel for night life, but being within a stones throw from the town centre...it doesn't matter.
So thank you Ghazala Gardens for a fantasic holiday. We will definately be back.

My wife and I spent seven wounderful days at Gazalar Gardens. We found it excellant value and plan to return next year. A short walk to Gazala Beach hotel and your on a private beach. The staff very friendly and I think must out number the guests, the whole hotel was spotlessly clean and the food plentyfull and lots of variety although sometimes a little strange for our tasts but we didn't go hungary or feel we had to eat out. Situated in a great location close enough to walk to the town but but far enough away to be affected by the noise in fact it was vey quite at the hotel all bars close around midnight.
