Just back from a fortnight in Egypt, Sierra Resort, Sharm el Sheikh. Hot weather, good shopping and gorgeous restaurants. Soho Square lovely on an evening, Sierra Resort, sister to The Savoy was a great family resort, a good all rounder hotel. Plenty of pools, entertainment and a lovely spa on site. This hotel gives you All Inclusive facilities at The Queen Vic and The Fontana Bar in Soho Square...gives you a bit more choice than just your Hotel. Food and drink always flowing. Plenty of excursions and they are very well organised. People are very friendly and can't do enough for you. Hotel and grounds are very well maintained and there is always someone around to help you no matter what you need, a drink, a towel etc....must visit..the sister Hotel, The Savoy is a very nice hotel too, a little bit more exclusive but if you stay at the Sierra you can use the facilities at the Savoy....nice to have a choice!

Great hotel its been our 2nd time here and cant wait to go back.Well never once have we had to complain about anything at this hotel,FOOD......very good loads of choice for everyone, cakes and pastries are just delicious its just endless,do try the egyptian food its great i turned my nose up several times till my waiter told me he was going to do me an egyptian breakfast and wow how delicious it was please dont go to this country without trying their food,ROOMS.......well i emailed sierra before we left and asked if it was possible that we could have the same room again and we were told if available,on arrival the room was occupied so they gave us a room 2 doors away from our old room which once again looked over the pool was a triple family room very clean and spacious.STAFF....are very very friendly and will do anything they can to help you,oh lets not forget the gardeners who keep these gardens pristine and work just as hard lets not 4 get to tip these guys either.Oh and if u want peace and quiet just go to the pool by the spa fantastic pool and swim up bar and no kids under the age of 16yrs so just relax and chill, reception staff brilliant nothing to much bother and then there's Rebecca who is just awesome.last of all i would like to say carry on with the good work sierra you all deserve sooooooo much more looking foward to seeing you all very soon

Me and my family went for 2 weeks , it was the best holiday i have been on so far , the staff could actually not do enough for us ,, every day they rang to see how we were doing, we only were disapointed in one thing because at dinner you could not sit indoors if you did not have long trousers you had to eat your dinner out side so if you go bring trousers with you,, and alot of people got sick probly because of food but i didnt get it luckly , and if you are booking trips book them with Luka you will see him durin your holiday.. we did and did not regret it.

Stayed at the Sierra in Sharm again this year. This is our families 3rd Visit and we will be back. The staff are great, the service is superb, and the facilities are beyond expectations. We ate at the HOT ROCK in the Savoy on my Daughter’s Birthday our second visit to this very special and unique dining experience, and once again, that is just what it was special and unique.
Esak (Issak) at the small pool bar once again did us proud nothing was too much trouble; he made our holiday very special. Emet (Evening pool bar) was the lovely friendly generous hearted young man we first met last year, again nothing was too much trouble, along with first rate service, Esak and Emet provided intelligent and knowledgeable conversation on a variety of topics. Michael (towel and pool) was a real gentleman and again great service always with a smile and gracious comment).
Met so many of the staff who welcomed us back again, seemed genuinely pleased to see us return. The guys at the Queen Vic pub always friendly and accommodating and Soho Square just gets better and better. It really is the icing on the cake when you stay at either the Sierra or the Savoy! Becky and all the other girls on guest relations first class, always prepared to go the extra mile, helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks Becky for the Naama Bay where to eat advice Mahoney’s was great.
Any downsides – Almost seems churlish to mention they were so small and petty!
The food which is great was not quite as good as last year, I think just not quite as much choice, but well cooked and tasty, especially when you account for how many they cater for and all the different nationalities they have to please. The Beef at times a little of the tough side, but very minor really.
The Fontana Bar staff, were not that good, especially the tall guy with the glasses who at times was downright rude and unhelpful once he realised you were from the Sierra and therefore drinks and service are part of the inclusive package. This seemed to be his cue to be unhelpful and ignore you, saw him do this with several guests.(one member of staff in 100’s wish this was the case in the UK).
All in all the SEIRRA, deserves a real pat on the back. The Management are great, helpful and very hands one. All Lobby and desk staff are attentive and courteous. All other staff on site and in Soho square faultless (apart from the one guy). What a credit to the owner of the Savoy Group Sharm. Great Place, Great Atmosphere, Great Hotel, Great Staff and as far as myself and my daughter are concerned Greatful Holiday makers. See you next year SIERRA! (Can’t Wait) !
P.S. The New Pool is fantastic, as are the new rooms, the upgrade looks set to improve your image even further.

Excellant holiday,First visit to Egypt and soooh..... glad we ignored the few bad reviews this hotel gets, first of all lovely welcome, on arrival very pleasant staff who greeted us with a cold flannel and cold fruit juice, very much appreciated in a very hot climate and then everything about your stay clearly explained.Room was standard double or should say Queensize, newley refurbished with very nice garden views and newley built pool ( now open ) bathrobes slippers faceclothes and toiletries all supplied, you can also purchase your bathrobes for a charge of £20 each at the end of your stay if you wish to take them home. They even offer a laundrey service at a small charge. No kettle in room on arrival but within 10 minutes of request one was brought to our room along with cups and saucers. The rooms were kept immaculate with linen and towels changed most days also two bottles of water left in room everyday. The staff very nice and can't do enough for you especially Michael and Hani pool guys, and louie bar manager.Maintenance work around the resort and pool area is going on,but will only add to the improvement and refurbishment the hotel has already undergone, but in the two weeks we were there i can honestly say no noise or workmanship spoilt our holiday or the fact it is close to the airport, just the beauty of the hotel and surroundings made it a very heavenly holiday.Yes the food is quite repetative but that's with most A.I. packages, there is always something for everyone to eat,but the quality and presentation is top class.Soho square is fab, plenty going on,Queen Vic and Fontanna bar just extends the A.I. facilities of the Sierra and other shops and resturants offering discount.Overall our stay was a very happy relaxing holiday with loads of good memories and we can't wait to return, thanx to the Sierra and all your staff. Roll on next year.........

Room Tip: we were at the back by the spa and golf course, lovely views and very quiet

The hotel is very good. The food not too much like in turkey but very tasty. The rooms are ok. We have standard garden. Clean and safe. Good point for animation team Julia, Dima, Matthew, and the DJ Mirkoo. The pool is gorgeous and the people around it are very friendly. Very good value for the money
