group of us 5 divers stayed at the Falcon Hills from 9/10/2011-19/11/2011, having stayed at several hotels in Sharm from the Ocean College 3* to Hyatt Regency Club 5* we thought we knew what to expect from the hotel, what a surprise we had, on entering the hotel late in the evening a meal was provided straight away though the restaurant was shut. Our rooms were, I would think ,freshly decorated, as one room had to hold 3 adult males, a proper bed had been provided for the third one which was great. All the staff were very helpful and smiling, no problems getting drinks food etc. at anytime.I would think that when the hotel is full there may be a problem to get a bed round the pool. Entertainment was pretty basic, loud music at certain times round the pool, dodhing the ball at Water Polo was a pain, gymnasium equipment needed to go into the bin as mostly broken, if given the choice would go for rooms at the back of the hotel round the small pool where service from the pool bar wes excellent. After a 5 day dive pacjkage with Colona Divers is was great to just lounge round the pool, the rooms on one side are being refurbished but are nearly finished so no problem there.Try the Spa- negotiate on price, we had the Cleopatra Package for £30 each for 2 hours, well worth it.
They have 2 internet stands at 45LE for 1 Hour and 35LE for half and hour, five minute walk away by Coloana Divers is Internet Cafe with Skpe for 15LE for 1 Hour and 10LE for half and hour plus gives a walk after evening meal.
As we did not use the Hotel Bus service to the beach unable to pass comment on what the beach is like, did walk into Old Sharm which took aboput half and hour and used bus into Naama Bay one night.
All in all a great hotel when you consider the price, and would DEFINATELY go back aga

Don't take any notice of the bad reviews on here, a few mosquitos and 'average' food is not uncommon in a foreign country, to say you HAD to have Mcdonalds is a bit extreme! I'm quite fussy and I always found some thing to eat! The hotel is spotlessly clean, constantly maintained to a high standard! Most of the staff were lovely, especially the towel boy (can't remember his name) and Mohammed the bar man..who makes delicious cocktails that you can have by the pool, or even in it!
Yusef and the other staff were all friendly and sweet, apart from one called Abrahim face like a smacked bum and rude, but that didn't bother us!
There could be more evening entertainment but 'Dodo' the animation bloke did the best he could and what he did was always a laugh! Had so much fun in the 'chillout room' smoking sheesha and dressing up in all the Egyption gear! Gorgeous weather, pool and holiday in general! Would DEFINATELY go back.

We have just arrived home after spending 2 weeks with friends on an all inclusive basis.
The room was basic but cleaned and fresh towels every day. Whenever we asked for more towels, they were at the room within the hour. The bar staff were excellent, especially Karim, Yousief, Mamhoud and Ibriham.(Mohammed was excellent with us but unfortunately went home a few days before we left). Those guys couldn't do enough for us! The restaurant manager is a brilliant guy, always willing to help and Zico the waiter was excellent.
Moustafa (pool guy) was a great guy and took time to make sure we were always happy.
Dodo, the entertainment guy was excellent, always on the go trying to get people involved. The evening entertainment wasnt great, but can't fault Dodo for trying!
The food was ok, we always found something we could eat but did get a bit repetitive. My husband loved the soup!
We got a few massages from the VIP spa. The staff there were wonderful and very friendly.
The hotel surroundings were always being tended to, and the 2 pools were clean.
All in all, this hotel is basic but worth going to due to the brilliant staff.

Room Tip: ask for a room at the small pool due to the noise from the larger pool area.

a weeks holiday at the falcon hills hotel. Hotel is clean, tidy and the staff are pleasant, friendly and pleased to help! After having read previous reviews about poor service i was a little aprehensive about the holiday. However i did not find these true and this contributed to making it a great holiday. Bar staff are awesome, keeping you topped up, the photographer takes a good pic,and was nice to talk to. the room cleaners do a fantastic job every day (clean sheets), and the animation team gave it their best. Food was the only thing i could deduct points for, however the head chefs do cook a mean omlette fresh for breakfast.

And of course a week of blue sky and sun isnt bad either :)

We have just returned from a 2wk holiday at Falcon hills. After reading some other reviews we cant understand what those people are moaning about. The staff were exellent with a good sense of humour, helpful and very polite. We were greeted as soon as we arrived by Osama who made us feel very welcome. The rooms are basic but very clean with good air con. The food was also a little basic but always fresh and tasty. We went diving with the school at the hotel ( pirates ) we were taught how to dive by expert instructors ( John and Moody ) and was taken out for a dive in the nationl park by ( Mohammed ) who made us feel very comfortable indeed. An exellent day out. there was lots of sunbeds and we didnt have to fight for them. There is also a safe in the room which is free to use. There wasnt much evening entertainment but that was ok for us. Overall a very relaxed and enjoyable 2 weeks.
