My boyfriend and I has the most amazing holiday here between 19th June and 26th June. Do not rely on the negative reviews when considering holiday village for your holiday, it's a very very great place!

Accommodation:
We paid slightly extra for a jacuzzi room (about £42 per person for the week) and it was an excellent decision! Very big, high quality room and beautifully decorated. The room had super comfy king size bed, walk in wardrobe, large dressing table space, TV with lots of great channels, living room type area, fridge and mini bar, large bathroom with walk in wet room shower, great size balcony with seating and jacuzzi bath. Our room was ground floor with excellent location, balcony backed onto the pool area, and as you stepped out the front door, you could see the beach, about a 30 second walk from the sand. Beautiful spot!

Hotel & food:
Hotel is great! Lobby is decorated beautifully. Hotel grounds are full of beautiful gardens, with perfect grass which was cut and watered daily.

All inclusive buffet was great during breakfast and lunch with large variety. Evening buffet changed theme each night, with a very consistent excellent quality. There are several restaurants on site, four of which you were given a token to eat there free on one occasion during your stay. As well as lunch time buffet, there was food served on pool side between 1-2:30pm. This was usually chips, fresh fish, chicken and fruit, and one day the BBQ was out to do steak butties. Excellent quality again, fish was amazing!

Small shops on site selling snacks and souvenirs. Nothing is priced so be careful you aren't charged difference prices for things on different occasions.

Pool was great! Lots of separate pools for activities, swimming lessons, children's pool and large pool area for everything else.

Staff:
The staff here were great, very friendly and spoke very good English. As we arrived, the man giving out wrist bands for all inclusive was very keen to distinguish between those who have been before and those who hadn't. Different wrist bands were given out to highlight this. When he asked us if we had been before, we said yes, thinking he meant Egypt in general (but he meant the holiday village in particular). We were given the gold band. Throughout the holiday all members of staff noticed our bands and questioned when we had been before. In the end we just went along with it to save the confusing conversation. One evening we were severed several times by a very rude bar man, and the fourth time we were served by him he commented on our bands and was extra nice to us from then on and regularly brought our drinks to our table. Returning customers seem to be treated slightly better, and all staff are quick to check bands when greeting or serving customers.

Entertainment:
Fabulous entertainment for both adults and children. Kids club was great, worked all through the day and put on some fab shows in the amphitheatre between the pools.
Evening entertainment for adults in a upstairs bar was great!

Beach:
I can't say enough about the beach. Because the hotel was so family orientated the beach was very quiet, with about 4 regular couples there each day. The breeze there took the what away so it was far more relaxing. Sea was so clean and clear with lots of gorgeous fish at the end of the hotel jetty. Great for snorkelling! Water is not deep for about half a mile out, but has amazing coral reefs to explore.

Weather:
Beautiful, not a cloud in sight all week. Around 42 degrees each
day, and very warm evenings.

Small negatives:
Wifi was a big selling point for this hotel, however was only accessible when sat in the lobby. Because of this, each night the lobby became very busy and so the connection was terribly poor!
Buffet was put on for us because we arrived after the evening buffet closed, however was poor! After a 5 hour flight and extra time in the airport we were very hungry, the buffet was only bread, salad, cheese and hams. No hot food which was highly disappointing.

Overall, can't say enough about this holiday, it was excellent and I am going to try return before summer is over :)

Got back from the holiday village 3 weeks ago and missing it already , what can I say the whole place is immaculate the staff are friendly and polite not a bad thing to say

Rooms were fine although a little far from the main complex which proved difficult at time with a child with a heart condition he got tired in the heat walking back and too but I'm sure had I have asked we could of been moved but it was easier to carry than move after unpacking !! The cleaner was brill our rooms were spotless and the free safe was an added bonus

Food . There's always something to eat unless you are major fussy. My son is very fussy and he ate well . The al carte restaurants are lovely the Mediterranean was our fave and the steak house is definatly worth a visit

Pools. Clean well maintained did have trouble getting 5 beds near kids pools most days but the attendants always willing to help you move beds about . The pool barmen are fab. A big thanks to alaa ftom the quiet pool and Ali from the main we never had an empty glass we tipped but it makes no difference if you do or don't they are fab

Kids club was brill my son loved it never used one before but would not hesitate to again I never once heard that he was bored

Excursions were booked with falcon just down the road from the hotel half the price of first choice and fantastic . The VIP cruise is a must !!

Must say wasn't keen on ampithertre found it quite uncomfortable but kids enjoyed it and the entertainment was good though I hate the chocolate song now !!!

All in all brilliant we have already booked agin for next year don't think my kids want to go anywhere else now

See you all soon and keep up the good work it really pays off

We travelled as a large party consisting of 4 generations. There was some initial confusion on checking in as one of our members was disabled. We were shocked at the location they had been given as the hotel had prior warning that we would be coming and had stayed previously. The hotel decided to upgrade us at a cost but everyone was satisfied.
The rooms were beautiful. Very spacious and well kept. I can't thank the domestic staff enough for keeping our room spotless. Not an easy job with young children staying. We had a room above one of the swim up rooms, which looked beautiful at night when it was all lit up. It was difficult taking the buggy up and down the stairs as they were really slippery but we managed. A single parent with young children staying May struggle though.
The complex and the swimming pools were really well kept. We experiences the main pool, activity pool and children's pool all being closed at some point during our stay. This was usually because of a child having an accident whilst in the water. However the pool attendants quickly ensured the pools were evacuated and cleaned up as safely and quickly as possible. The pool staff were very friendly and helpful.
The main buffet restaurant was very chaotic. We were always seated at the very back of the restaurant if we all went down to dinner together. The restaurant was very busy and it seemed that the hotel were understaffed as the poor waiters always seemed to be rushing about with plates and trays. The food selection was fairly good and was themed each night although this was not extensive. Sometimes you would find yourself walking around looking in all the trays trying to make some sort of meal as not everything looked appealing. We found ourselves picking up things that we might not usually eat together. The stations that made things fresh were always busy so you need to be prepared to wait and even then you might not get what you order. E.g getting someone else's omelette order or being missed out completely.
The al a carte restaurants were a lot calmer although the menus were basic the atmosphere was so much more relaxed and you could talk without shouting across the table. The bread and pastries at breakfast were beautiful and you could tell they were fresh every morning and dinner.
The only ice cream available was located near the lobby which was a fair walk from the pool area.
The kids club was amazing. I have never been a big fan of kids clubs as I don't agree with parents sending their children away whilst on a family holiday. However I have been converted. The children Begged to go each day and learnt so much. There are some clubs you have to pay for but well worth it. The chocolate party is a must. The staff were really professional and ensured they were safe at all times.
The evening entertainment was what you would expect and the kids enjoyed it. Especially the widgets. The amphitheatre reopened during our second week which was a bonus as it seemed less crowded and the children and adults could get involved more in the games and dancing.
There were some little areas where you could just sit and enjoy a drink and a chat which is usually what we enjoyed to do.
The wifi is only really available in the lobby and you will struggle to get online in the evening as everyone in the hotel seems to be there with a phone or gadget in their hand. Luckily I didn't need to use it very often. You can have wifi in your room at a cost.
All in all the whole family had a really good time. There were a few things taut didn't go to plan but it didn't impact on our experience too much.
