Ranked #6 of 22 Hotels in Taba

We returned for the forth time this spring to the Marriott Taba Hights. The hotel has excellent facillities set in beautiful grounds and gardens. The staff are welcoming, friendly and very polite. The accomodation is spacious, clean and very comfortable. The main restaurant offers a good sellection of tasty food. We enjoy the peace, tranquility and saftey of the whole area. There is a large well designed pool area and the beach offers sand ,crystal clear waters with excellent provision for swimming and snorkling. The two KM path along the shore is a pleasure to walk or jog along. The hotel is a ten minute walk from the golf corse which is an excellent challenge for golfers with spectacular views.I personally use the health suite daily which has a delightful helpful staff and small gym. There are various trips avalable for those who want a little adventure.Last year I went on a day trip to Petra in Jordan while my husband played golf. A fantastic well organised trip! The Marriott is an excellent choice for recharging the batteries and enjoying the sun.

Room Tip: We have had 4 different rooms in different areas all were quiet and of consistant good quality

Ideal place for a relaxing week early spring time (end march). Far the nicest of he 5 hotels in the beautifull secluded Taba Heights domain: nice large rooms, excellent "american"bedding (mostly 2 double beds )large terrace, all rooms with open views to sea and mountains, lots of space around the pools and gardens, well maintained and equipped beach (artificial with white sand).
At this time of the year, occupancy 30/40%, so lots of seats to choose from and no queuing in the restaurant. Only weak point, the food, not bad but quite repetitive. Orange juice is a shame: slightly coloured water , no taste! Poor choice of low quality fruit. All inclusive is a must because the drinks are overpriced (7€ for a glass of egyptian wine!). And wifi (only in lobby) or internet connection in the room is a scandal: 10€ or a 1 shot 1 hour!!(In the Sofitel next door wifi is free in the lobby).
Little animation (what we like) makes this hotel a good choice for parents with little children and people looking for a quiet hotel, not the holidayclub style.
Will return next year for another quiet relaxing week out of the high season in this paradise.

Room Tip: All rooms have open views, blocks have maximum 2 to 3 floors. King beds or 2 doubles. All ground fl...

Just back after 14 days at the Marriott. Super location. Great pool areas. The Taba area is restricted. Not a lot to do outside the hotel areas and Taba town. Main restaurant at hotel was ok. Not gourmet but good food choices. We were on an "all inclusive" basis. Restaurant and bar staff were really great and very attentive. A small criticism is that the "all inclusive" basis is until 22.00 only - a little early but no problem for us. We stayed in room 1016 which was a beachfront room. Great room. Super comfortable beds. Great air con and a really good shower. Cleaning could have better especially in the bathroom. Wifi was available with good coverage BUT much too expensive - egp 105 for 60 mins and not cumulative. This was our biggest disappointment. Wifi should be freely available in today's hotel world. The Regency Club alongside the main restaurant was fun but also another disappointment. Very loud disco music too early in the evening. We had our coffee and brandies after dinner at around 21.00 and most evenings the music was just too loud. Would suggest cocktail lounge type background music until about 22.00 and then start the disco. We were mostly older guests who would have liked to have our after dinner drinks and conversations in quieter surroundings fr a period after dinner. All in all we enjoyed our stay and will be back but probably for 7 days only.

Room Tip: The beach side rooms in the 1000 block are super

My family and I went to Taba Heights Marriott a few months ago. I should say that we have a baby girl, who was 8 month then. We had great time as usual. The service was perfect, the food was good and the weather was amazing! It is always nice to come to Marriott Taba Heights where people remember what you like and meet you with a smile and warm greetings! We felt like really valued guests and had great help from the chefs as our daughter has started to try "normal" food. We attended the "moon light" party at the beach one night which felt like other dimension!
Big Thank you Marriott Taba Heights team! we'll be back for sure...

My husband and I wanted a long weekend away in the sun and chose Marriott Taba Heights Resort as friends had recommended it to us.

We flew with easyJet to Sharm and the hotel arranged for a taxi to collect us at the airport and drive us the very scenic 2 hours to Taba (amazing views through the desert).

We spent most of our time around the hotel, playing tennis, table tennis and golf, as well as some relaxing on the beach and in the bar in the evening.

We ate at 4 restaurants in the 'uptown' part of Taba and the food was good and varied, as well as very reasonably priced. One evening we went to the amazing Castle Zaman for dinner. The food was good (although quite pricey) but it was the building that really impressed us. With it's own swimming pool on top of a cliff overlooking the sea, it would be the perfect place for a wedding reception or a party. I wish we'd gone during the afternoon to really appreciate the view, instead of in the dark!

I'd thoroughly recommend a stay at Marriott Taba Heights - and it doesn't have to be very expensive if you get your own flights with easyJet. The staff are really helpful and friendly, and go out of their way to make sure you're getting the most out of your break.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view room
