Attraction details
Owner description: Designed by John Sanford, a member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects, the course meets American and European architectural standards for golf courses. The gentle slopes of the fairways take full advantage of both sea and mountain views and the course offers an impressive 7100 yards between the 1st and 18th hole. The total course area cleverly spans the central section of the resort's overall property, linking the different hotels and beachfront. The course provides an exciting game with various rolling elevations ranging from 4 to 70 meters above sea level. With five sets of tees on each hole, players have ample opportunity to improve their game or abide by their actual handicap level. Three challenging lakes, as well as several sand bunkers, native desert areas, and elevated fairways will test players' abilities. Each hole has five sets of tees and three holes offering plays alongside the Red Sea waters.

“Just Paradise”
Reviewed 20 February 2014

You look for anything you need and you will just find it in this Paradise land called Taba Heights, and everything is just wonderful, hotels, beaches, swimming pools, restaurants, water sports, golf course, all kind of outdoor activities, bright sunshine all year, excellent service all over. Must visit and many Europeans visited Taba Heights more than 10 times, it is just around 4 hours flights from Europe. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

“Good Golf but expensive”
Reviewed 18 January 2014

Great course with wonderful views and very quiet, but expensive at 75 euros. This includes hiring clubs and a buggy.

“Hot golf!!!”
Reviewed 4 December 2013

Played course in the autumn, beautiful views and the course was in great shape. I timed it so that I had twilight rates which made very reasonable indeed. Buggy is essential as it gets very warm indeed. Sad to see that course was practically empty every time I played. Staff very welcoming and clubs cleaned after the round.

“Great suprise”
Reviewed 21 November 2013

We , a Finnish couple flied to Ovra in Israel took a taxi to the border of Egypt and settled down Moevenpick Taba Resort. The occupancy rate of this five star hotel was 27 percent. Its garden and beach were wonderful. So was the service and the restaurants, especially the Sea Shell thanks to manager Mohamed Shahta and chief Mohamed Abd Allah.
We visited also Taba Heights and played a round of golf there. The Taba Heights Golf Course was in excellent condition. There were just a few golfers, so we had time to admire the beautiful scenery, the mountains and Red Sea.
I have played golf over three decades, in every continent, 63 countries and over 350 courses. Taba Heights Golf course I will always remember as the best in Egypt and North Africa.

I am sure we will visit again Taba and Taba Heights. The weathwer and the price/value-ratio are the best available during the winter season.

“Superb course in beautiful setting”
Reviewed 3 November 2013

My husband rates the Taba Heights golf course as one of best he has played on holiday (and he takes his clubs wherever in the world we go!!!) The staff are great and the course is in wonderful condition. At present due to reported trouble in Egypt the course is underbooked and underplayed, but any golf societies wishing to try somewhere different should definately think about this course in Taba Heights
