Just returned from my honeymoon at the intercontinental. When we first arrived we had been upgraded, a card and cake left in our room. How lovely and thoughtful !! The rooms are huge ,clean and 5*.The staff couldnt be nicer, and more helpful.The hotel is lovely,the pool and beach amazing.
Now here comes the but; The food was diabolical, nothing was ever hot, in fact it was cold.
cooked badly and the salad was mostly unrecognisable. the only meal we ate was breakfast(omelettes and nice pastries.) Didnt bother with lunch,or dinner. We were both sick. Im still sick 3 weeks later !!!
Not the heat , I have been tested !! When some of the people we met there also complained.
They were told it was because the executive chef was on holiday !! Not our problem !!! Please sort out your equipment for keeping the food hot .although the food was not hot when it came "fresh" from the kitchen either .More
