“Water paradise”
Reviewed 26 January 2014

We have done a guided kajak trip to the second fall and went back by foot. On this trip a guide is worth the money ... and money stays with the locals!

“A challenging but worthwhile excursion”
Reviewed 6 January 2014

This was a great excursion, but one that requires a certain degree of physical fitness as the round-trip walk to and from the waterfall is both long and hilly. Definitely wear sneakers.

Swimming underneath the waterfall and going down the natural water slide at the halfway point was the highlight, but our guide was not to be overlooked as he pointed out various plants, birds and facts along the way that really enhanced the experience.

“like stepping back in time, incredible”
Reviewed 3 January 2014

the guide was very informative, we took the boat ride to the base of the falls, and swam under the falls, saw lots of fresh trout, and hiked back along the beach, amazing

“Lavena walk great”
Reviewed 29 December 2013

Semba was our guide and he was great and entertaining! He had a lot of local knowledge to share along the way. Even styled my husband's hair with natural hair gel from a Ginger bud. That was fun! We had a great time. It's about a 5 hour walk in and out, mostly level, but wear good shoes that can get wet (it rained for us) and a camera that you can seal in a dry pouch. Bug spray, don't go without it! Beautiful scenery, amazing views. Watch for the pedestal rocks and ribbon coral structures at low tide!
