“Yay! Korosun!”
Reviewed 9 August 2014 via mobile

We are just finishing our Advanced OW with Korosun and have had the best time! We will have done 10 dives by the time we finish and though we visited some of the same sites, there was always something new to see! The staff here are excellent. Matt, Heidi, Steve, Alex, Colin and Janine were all such fun to dive with. We feel like part of the family! The kit and boat were great and the instruction we got from Matt was brilliant. We feel privileged to have dived with them all and as a bonus we have made some great friends. Thanks guys!

Dude and Dudette! Bula Vinaka, and we miss you!! Gotta post that hammerhead experience you had onto our facebook page/group! VFF!!!
Loving we're staying in touch and that you had such an awesome time with us. We likewise so enjoyed your company both above and below water.
Appreciate your comments regarding the highly rated instruction you were given for your AOW and how our gear is top notch also. We like guests who smiles on their dials.
I have finally seen Matt's video of you two, how lucky are you??? Maybe an underwater wedding in Fiji in the future??? Would be naff!! We've done one before but yours would be way fabulous!!!
Congrats on being AOW certified and we wish you many more happy and exciting diving adventures on

“Nice dive operation”
Reviewed 9 August 2014

Good dive operation with a pretty big dive boat. Short rides to dive sites. One downside is that there are not too many dive sites, possibly due to the rough seas. We dove 5 days, and overlapped sites several times, but they are still great dives. Another downside is no Nitrox. We frequently went into Deco, or had to stay up high to keep from going into deco. Nitrox would have helped a lot. In the future, we would spend a few days with koro sun diving and then go with I other shop for the other dives to have some variety.

Bula Vinaka Folks for your review.

You unfortunately had a hellish weather window for your stay and were severely limited in your dive site options. In fact on several days it was line ball on whether to dive or not, so you were lucky to get out at all on your pre-paid dives. We DO NOT recommend pre-paid diving thru service/accommodation/travel providers as weather, sickness, other activities etc can see you then forfeit your diving, as pre-paid diving is non-refundable as it is not paid to us direct.

We usually have a much broader range of sites than you experienced, but we certainly never encourage guests to dive with us for more than 5 days unless they are happy to repeat dive sites.

Glad you had a good experience with us other than being dive site restricted. We enjoyed your company too. Happy future diving. Vinaka vakalevu the KSD Family. :-)

“Adventures in Diving”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

Diving with KoroSun and Colin, Janine, and Steven was always a good time. While in Fiji as a volunteer KoroSun became my dive operation of choice. Always affordable rates, solid equipment, a welcoming relaxed environment on the boat, and an epic adventure underwater. I was able to dive the Rainbow Reef, Namena, and local reefs numerous times while I was there. From schools of hammerheads, to breathtaking columns of coral, to chasing turtles through canyons, each dive was memorable. Many of my friends have gotten dive certified through them as well, and have been more than happy with the experience!! Hope to find my way back to Fiji and blow some bubbles with KoroSun sooner than later...

Bula Vinaka Lauren! Sava cava tiko? We miss you!
It is always our pleasure to train and dive the Peace Corps volunteers as we so appreciate what you are doing to support, nurture and develop our country. You help us, we help you! A great interactive working relationship!
It's great you note our hugely varied range of dive sites, both local and also our day trips to Somosomo and Namena. Also that we have good gear and a reputation as a solid dive training provider.
Please do email us if you're wanting to come and blow bubbles with us (Sir Stevo is getting better and better at it!!) and we'll be waiting with open arms! No Isa Lei, only Sota Tale!!

“Terrific Snorkeling”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

What terrific snorkeling we had with Korosun Dive. I have been to other places in the past where snorkelers are made to feel like second class people and only the divers 'rate', but this is far from the case at Korosun Dive. Right from the initial booking phone call with Janine through the whole experience we were made really welcome. The snorkeling at "Turtle Alley" was fabulous and apart from all the beautiful fish and coral we saw a reef shark and two graceful turtles. We really wished we could have had a second trip but unfortunately the weather went right 'off' for the last few days. Thank you Janine for your good advice on where to eat in Savusavu as well.

Bula Re!
We are so happy to have had you come with us for such a great snorkelling experience. Sorry we could not offer more days, but we cannot control the weather! You were a fun couple, very snorkel experienced and knowledgeable about marine life. More next time!!!
Vinaka for your time with us followed up by a great review which also acknowledged our advice regarding eateries. We are always happy to offer local advice for accommodation, food and activities. No charge for our opinions!! Ask away...
All the best the KoroSun Dive Team, with best wishes J-9, Skipper Skipper & Sir Stevo .

“what a great outfit to get certified, awesome diving”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

myself and 2 of my kids, aged 10 & 13 got certified with Colin and the Koro Sun Dive team. Colin was excellent with the kids and patient. We got it all done quickly and got into the ocean for our first dive checkout after only 2 days. The team there is very low key and easy, Fiji style which was very welcome. The diving only a 5 minute ride from the dive shop is incredible. I would highly recommend getting certiifed here at Koro Sun Dive. We did a dive with Cousteau and the equipment at Koro Dive was much better. Highly recommend Koro Sun Dive and Colin!

Bula Vinaka Family!

Let the adventures begin! You are almost all now dive certified so there are plenty of fun times ahead for both snorkellers and divers alike. Was nice the snorkellers could come and snorkel with you while you were getting dive certified.

Glad we could dive certify you in a relaxed but safe and professional manner and that you enjoyed the whole process. Colin enjoys teaching children and adults alike. Diving is his passion!!

We may not have an internationally renowned name as another dive operator does in Savusavu, but we deliver in terms of price, sites, gear and fun! Glad we could in your opinion rank right up there.

Vinaka from the KoroSun Dive Family for your review and we wish you and the kids many years of safe and enjoyable diving!
