“What a splendid stroke of luck!”
Reviewed 4 January 2016 for a stay in December 2015

A spontaneous trip to Savusavu for new years eve almost went terribly wrong when we couldn't find accommodation, but a rigorous search for a place led us to Vosa ni Ua, and we're so glad everything else was booked. This place is definitely a gem, and unbelievably inexpensive for what is on offer. The beautiful bure is self-contained, with a refrigerator, microwave, electric cook top and even an oven in case you want to bake a cake, which you can enjoy at a beautiful beach across the road. There is excellent snorkelling; even for little ones! Hotel owner, Clark, was very helpful and definitely a people person. We like to try out different hotels when we travel in Fiji, but this one is definitely one we'll be coming back to again. Take it from a local!

“Awesome Property and Best Host on Savusavu”
Reviewed 21 June 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Our stay at Vosa Ni Ua was one of our favorite parts of our trip to Fiji. The bure is spacious and stocked with nearly everything you need, which made eating in and saving a little money on some meals very convenient. Our host, Clark, made sure we got to the market and bakery to get whatever food we might want during our stay. He even catered dinner for us on two of the nights. He is a fantastic cook, so be sure to ask about that.

The property is located across the street from a beautiful, quiet beach, and is within biking distance of KoroSun Resort and Savisi Island Resort (we preferred the latter). Clark had bicycles for loan, and a cab ride to town was less than $20 FJ. If you're there to dive, like we were, this is a perfect location if you want to dive Dreamhouse (famous for the resident school of hammerheads) and the northern sites. KoroSun Dive at Savisi Resort (not to be confused with the dive shop at the KoroSun Resort) picked us up everyday, although if we hadn't been loaded down with cameras, we could have rode bikes there in less than 30-minutes.

We also spent three days with Clark learning how to kite surf. He was a very patient and thorough teacher. If you have the time, ask about lessons - it was well worth the time and money! So fun!

Clark is an amazing host, and everyone we met nearby was so friendly and genuine. If you're looking for a quiet option and like experiencing what a country is really feels like, this is the perfect option in Savusavu.
