it is situated in the center of the city, just in the riviera side best location, it is bit old and needs to be renewed but still very cosy place, specially if you get front rooms garden view or pool view there is more quiet, it has outdoor pool and indoor as well so i would recommend to go this place. value for money!

Room Tip: garden or pool view

Nice hotel in central part of Batumi, close to beach and beach promenade. Rooms are well designed and quite nice. Breakfas were good with wide choise option. Price could be lower, but it was high season, so its acceptable. There is balcony option with sea view as well. It a good option beside more expensive Radison or Sheraton, which are close to this hotel.

Well, I just stayed only in this hotel in Batumi but i think there are better hotels there with the same price. First of all, one can clearly see the lack of experience of the front desk staff. They need to be educated about customer relationship, foreign languages (at least one should know English) and general knowledge about world's geography. I don't mean he/she should know all the things about geography but at least one should know about the neighbouring countries of which he/she lives. I don't like Georgian cuisine much, but you can find good international meal such as Turkish and Italian cuisine in the restaurant.

Once the high end of Soviet tourism in Georgia, the INTOURIST has been thoroughly renovated.

My room was large and bright and beautifully decorated. It was almost luxurious.

They have a well equipped fitness room and very nice indoor pool.

For people who like those things, there is also a casino on the ground floor.

Don't miss breakfast. The buffet is large, the food is very good and there is a wonderful terrace where you can sit outside and look out over the park across the street from the hotel.

The location is excellent, right across from the park and boardwalk (now being extensively redeveloped and improved) that border the Black Sea beach (big stones, not sand) that Batumi is famous for.

Room Tip: Don't get a room above the place they rent out for parties on the ground floor. The noise from t...

My husband and I stayed here based on the Lonely Planet recommendation. Our room was very hot and the air con was broken and blew in hot. We tried opening a window but the casino and the noises from cars spinnign by made it impossible to sleep.

If this was a 30 euro a night hotel in Arles I would deal but this is supposed to be an upmarket hotel. For the first time in my life I had to call a mechanic and then get our room changed and like 2 in the morning when we could not get the heat below 30 degrees. Traveling in Georgia is not easy and Batumi was supposed to be our kick back place. I nearly cried. I would never, ever recommend this place and if I could give it a zero I would.

Staff were surly and unhelpful. Breakfast, though smoky, was good.

I think intourist hotel is the best hotel i've seen so far, relatively cheap and absolutely safety. a tourism office in lobby called calypso is gonna be very useful for you if you have no idea where to travel in Batumi.

The hotel is situated nearby the state park and it is just in walking distance from the seashore. The rooms are good and modern with LCD TV's and AC. The open pool is quite clean. The staff is hepful. But the prices seems to me very high.
