My two friends and I are originally from the U.S. but are living in Guatemala as English teachers. We were just passing through Tela this past week on our way to Roatan. My friends had eaten at Bungalow during previous visits and insisted we go there for our one dinner in Tela. They were right! The food was delicious. I was craving some food from my home country (The U.S.) so I got the burger and fries! This was no ordinary burger and fries! It was delicious! Que RICO! All three of us had amazing food. You have to try his homemade salad dressing! Norman, the owner, came out to serve our food. He recognized my friends from their previous visits and chatted with us for quite some time. What an incredible and wonderful person! On our way back through Tela, we decided to stop at another (unnamed) spot for dinner. We paid much more money, the food was mediocre, and the server was not nearly as welcoming. We should've just went back to Bungalow!
