In our research of Hyderabad for decent budget hotels, we were disappointed, but this was an acceptable place. The street it is on is dingy, filthy, and busy with traffic during the day, but the hotel was clean, basic and comfortable. The large majority of customers are Indians on business. Get a room with A.C. They provide buckets of hot water for showering. No mosquito net but mosquitoes were not a problem fortunately. Our room was quiet, and near to the hotel was an excellent local restaurant.

Room Tip: We stayed on first floor- many rooms on upper floors rented out long term.

At £8 per night I think this is a very good budget hotel in Hyderabad. Adnan the manager was very helpful when trying to locate local sights and the concierge were also great offering full body massage for £5 I opted for the head massage for 50p which was excellent.

The rooms are very big and comfortable and the tv was in full working order whichade a change from most budget places.

Decent budget hotel with large rooms and quiet atmosphere, provides 24 hours hot and cold water with a power backup facility.
The room service was good and the staff was helpful and obedient to us.
They arranged a special cab for our tour of hyderabad which was very helpful of them given the fact that we did not know much about this city.

All in all a nice experience of Hyderabad and I appreciate hotel suhail for their support.

We went here due to Lonely Planets recommendation...
Turned out to be a complete dissapointment, for a room with a fan they charged us 800 rps - electrical plugs were hanging off the wall and sparking - staff were a little friendly but didn't help us get a taxi in the morning and instead we had to lug our bags around.
First time i have ever wished i had trusted the rickshaw drivers and left this place alone.
Totally over priced for what it was.

We stayed here for three days in February 2012. There was a glowing report on this Hotel in the Lonely Planet (South India & Kerala - 6th Edition) but the author of that must have been damn lucky as our experience was poor indeed. The sample room we saw before we signed in was a bit ordinary but as our Taxi driver got lost for 90 minutes trying to find this place we thought it would do in a pinch. The room we ended up with (Room 113) looked a bit like the ones shown in this Hotels' Webpage but those photo's don't show dirt and grubbiness like real life does. We had to wear our shoes in the room at all times so that when we took them off at night we could get into bed without dragging the dirt in with us. Air-con was cold & the TV worked but the walls were dirty, the bathroom wall & floor tiles showed some feeble signs that someone had started to clean them once but gave up well before the job was finished. The (Western style) toilet was very dirty - skid marks in the Pan and under the plastic seat looked like it had not been cleaned since it was installed (probably a couple of decades previous). The bed sheets (both of them) looked and felt like they hadn't been washed and the blanket supplied was also unclean. The Hotel is located down a Laneway behind the Post Office (not that this info helped the Taxi Driver) and although there is a 'Pay to Use' toilet at the end of this Lane it seems the adjacent wall, judging by the smell, is obviously a cheaper substitute. The staff were not particularly helpful and largely sat around all day watching TV and filling the air with cigarette smoke - certainly no-one had any interest in cleaning our room that I could see. When it was time to move on to our next destination we tried to organise a Taxi to take us to the Airport via the front desk but the price quoted was too high and I immediately got a better price by ringing Yellow Taxis myself - like they wouldn't know the right price! Hyderabad is a nice enough City and has some good sights (such as Golconda Fort & Chowmahalla Palace) but the area around this Hotel is not nice at all with the locals routinely throwing us hostile glares - you are apparently not welcome here if you are a Westerner. We did not experience this anywhere else in Hyderabad (or the rest of India either for that matter). We were glad to get out in the end! The photo's forming part of this review make the place look better than it was.

Room Tip: If you want a good room look for a different Hotel.
