We were on the South Goa Tour and this was one of the stops. The place is rich with history and I would love to learn more but unfortunately the audio presentation (with tacky music) is in Hindi. The human guide could only answer some basic questions. What a pity!

This place is famous for Big Foot legend - Wishing spot. It is also famous for other reasons:
1. Saint Mirabai's sculpture which is India's longest literate sculpture, is a big attraction here
2. Bird Habitat
3. Spice and fruit garden
4. Art Gallery
And the best part of this park is the 'Most dangerous Animal in the World' ;-).
It is basically depict a miniature Goan village.
Nice place to visit once atleast.

This is a reasonably well maintained old portugese house of a locally important family (I believe the owner was a lawer). There a couple of guides who will give you a tour of the place.

With a good imagination you could imagine the life of the old owners of this place, does give you a good feel of those times.

But this place is not for everybody, if one does not fancy walking around a old house with some antique furnitures and other household items this is not a place for you.
