We stayed here 7 nights and everything went great!
The location was very good, it took about 2minutes walk to the beach. Pool and outside area was beautiful. Our room was in the second floor and it was all clean and elegant.
Only not so good- thing was breakfast, there wasn't much to eat and we went there only two times. Everything else was good! I warm recommend staying in this hotel!

Lovely property, beautiful location and excellent access to the beach and the Kalamahri shack. The property is beautiful, especially the Gazebo. There's a 24*7 restaurant where we got food even at 2 in the morning!!

The overall experience of staying in clematis was average.

Good points
1.The location of the resort is very good with number of options to eat out and also to walk
around the market.
2.The food what they prepare is good to eat.
3.Pool and outside area is good to sit and relax.

Bad points
1.The rooms are spacious ,well equipped but not maintained properly.
2.House keeping needs more surveillance and maintaince.
3.Charging for infant food also which was complementary in other resorts, and when we asked for infant food they used to send food for two adults. Which was weird. Need to explain them repeatedly.
4.Room has some bad smell when we started the AC.
5.Room service was very slow we had to call them repeatedly for any thing to get like tissues .

We went to Candolim for a wedding and we picked the hotel without any recommendation, just looking at the internet site. Well the place has been fabulous, exactely what we needed: very simple but elegantly integrated with the nature around it. Candolim is a very very noisy place but as soon as you walk down the small entrance from the main street, all the noise is replaced with birds singing. We stayed in a standard room, clean and very comfortable, we went to the restaurant for lunches and we found it perfect for our needs (service a bit slow but always extremely kind so how can you complain...). The pool was the best part of the hotel, very clean and quiet, it was surrounded by a beautiful garden and trees. The beach was behind the hotel and reachable in 2 minutes walk.

Room Tip: the rooms upstairs do not have the bath, and we were told the rooms in the attic were extremely hot...

My friends and I planned a Goa trip and we decided to stay in this hotel. When we reached the hotel, we were told that someone has overstayed and we should "adjust" by giving up one of the rooms! When explained that there were couples and a couple of stags, the hotel staff agreed, but gave us the vibes that they are doing a favour on us by giving us rooms that we booked.

My friends got very small sized rooms, again not the ones that they had booked. I had booked the Auqa Suite with a private pool etc. The pool was in a shabby condition and after looking at it once, could not even look at it again.

When asked for Breakfast timings, the staff in a very casual tone informed us that breakfast buffet is till 10AM only. Who on earth would want to eat breakfast at 10AM when on holiday ? The food also was not all that great! The only good thing about the hotel is that it is very close to the beach.

While checking out, they billed me extra for two packets of biscuits, not wanting unpleasantness for a small amount, I paid the amount. But this sliminess did not end here. A friend was asked to check out and was moved to my room. They charged both of us for a Red Bull, Diet Coke and biscuits!

This has really put me off, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Even if someone stays, he should just take the room and eat all his meals in the shacks on the beach

After reading more bad reviews than good about clematis, we were a bit skeptical about the hotel. But to our surprise we loved it except for a couple of things. Good things first, the aqua suite is a great place if you hv kids. My daughter loved the warm water in the plunge pool in the room at night. The candle light pool area is lovely. The staff is co operative as they didnt mind cancelling our reservation and rescheduling it. The food is good. The swimming pool area is well maintained. The property though a narrow plot has all the amenities. It also has beach access. The minus points are that they dont have a parking space. Our car had to be parked right on the road. Other this is the bathroom always stinks. Barring these two things our stay was memorable one. Will surely be back soon.

Room Tip: Choose aqua suite if u hv kids. They will enjoy

We stayed there for 1 Night and 2 Days 23rd and 24th December 2013.

We got to stay as Makemytrip.com did a mess up with bookings.

The Hotel though has very limited rooms is good. The staff called us and guided to the Hotel as soon as they learned that we are being directed to their Hotel.

All the staff are Polite and well conducted.

We stayed in the First floor and theme is like a old mud house type.

Rooms are large and nice. But the Toilets are to be well lit and made up.

Rooms flooring get a feeling of not clean and the lightings have to be improved.

The settings for the Pool and the Sit out are very good.

The room service need some slight improvement.

Overall I like this hotel and I recommend this for anyone visiting with Family.
