Visited in last oct with family...though entrance is a bit small but once you enter the resort its nicely done with private gardens attached to each of the rooms. our room was neat and clean including bathroom and wc. Buffet breakfast was quite average and quality can be improved like fresh fruit salads and fresh coconut water can be added. Location is nice as beach is a5 min walk from the resort. Pool area is a bit congested and crowded! Over all experience with hotel staff aws good, they are quite hospitable. Would recommend it.

Room Tip: Try and a take a room in their newly built blocks, rooms are cleaner and better!

We stayed at Whispering Palms in April 2011 for 3 nights and 4 days. The resort was inviting with a nicely decorated reception. The rooms were just about ok and were definitely not value for money. The food was good though, but some more variety was expected. The service was nice and the staff was quick to respond to our requests. The best part about this resort is it's close proximity to the beach, which was the most important requirement for us. The resort also organized a half day tour of Goa for us, which was unnecessary from our point of view, as we were only interested in the fantastic river cruise that we had at the end of the half day tour. Overall it was a good experience staying at Whispering palms. I have received word that it is being spruced up. We will definitely stay there again once the refurbishing is done.

A place plus hotel you must visit sometime during your life. Best value for money we have experienced staff and people very friendly and cannot do enough for you. We stayed for 1 week which was not long enough so we will go back for 2 weeks in 2013 but if you can 3 weeks is the perfect length for travelling this far.

Just stayed at the Palms again for the 6th or 7th time, as usual you cannot fault the place. During our 2nd week there were only 4 european people in residence and we experienced personalised all inclusive like you wouldn't believe. Every morning the chef would come to ask what we would like for lunch and at what time, every afternoon we were asked what we would like for dinner and for what time, the food and the service was all above and beyond. There is a new food & beverage manager who goes by the name of Desmond, he is very hands on, pleasant & nothing is too much problem for him. His team are excellent especially Arvind, Rajesh, Gitoo, Tushar, Shrikant, Vinod, David and Anthony, they all help to make your stay special & memorable. Sonu is one of the junior sous chefs & he makes a mean omelette amongst other things and being married to an english girl, he knows how to cook a mean roast. There is a tailor & a jeweller on site, both are very good, in the tailors there are Ravi & Celina and in the jewellers Shaheed & Abdul, clothes and jewellery are very good & very reasonably priced, although for jewellery we tend to use Harry & Perry at Living Jewels, further up the road in Candolim, purely because we were introduced to them about 5 years ago. What more can I say other than I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone, especially as it is all in the process of being refurbished & we are told that it should all be finished for christmas 2012
