“A really good holiday, with a disappointing end!!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 March 2014

Stayed here end January for two weeks. It looks impressive from the outside and rooms are very spacious with very comfy beds. The pool was an added bonus but was always cloudy! The staff are very friendly and put themselves out to make our stay memorable, however, for the wrong reasons. My sister and her friend were asleep in their room on the first floor and had an unexpected visitor in the early hour of the morning of our last day. A young man climbed onto the balcony over the bank, into the communal room between the bedrooms, as the patio door did not close/lock, due to ill fitting patio doors. That particular night they had not locked their room door and were woken by a man rifling through her bag at the side of her. They gave chase but he was off. He stole money and jewellery that was very sentimental. The bank security guard and the lad downstairs were reportedly asleep at the time. Barreto was very sympathetic and when viewing the CCTV footage, the thief had tried every bedroom door but recognised the guy and promised to handle it. We had heard from other holiday makers that this wasn't the first time it had happened in the resort. As it was the last day of our holiday, he would do his best to sort it without involving the police. Big mistake, we should have gone to the police ourselves, apart from reporting it to the bank to check their security, nothing had been done to get their belonging back. By the time we were due to go to the airport, it was too late to report it and couldn't get a crime number to claim when we got home. We were asked again, to keep it to ourselves. I apologies for not posting this earlier but we were hoping for some feedback but not a word, not even an apology. Call us naive but once we were out of the county, this problem would go away with us. I think it's about time people were made aware. Like I say, lovely hotel, staff friendly until something goes wrong but be warned, lock your doors and beware of the light footed opportunist.

Room Tip: Lock your door in any of the rooms and don't be complacent. I have given excellent rating for th...

I made a last minute booking at Blue Sea. The price was 3,500 Rupees per night. The resort was very clean and the owner was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very large and include a sitting room and annex.
Complete with AC, a fridge and Sky TV you got a lot for your money.
The guest house has a neat garden with a pool and is located on the main road in Candolim and is a minutes walk from the beach, supermarkets and many restaurants and bars.
I would definitely return if visiting Candolim in the future.

Room Tip: To cut down on traffic noise I guess one at the rear of the house.

We viewed this hotel last christmas 2012,and we were impressed then....
Its probably the best hotel we have stayed in, large spacious rooms, 2 balconys, a safe in the wardrobe, tv a fridge which is nice and clean and there are no extra charges !!!!!!!
Buretto was very kind to us and the staff can't do enough, especially Neville, he cleans the rooms and is there 24hrs a day, he needs a pay rise as he does more than Noel who runs the hotel, when Buretto isn't there...
The pool is clean and plenty of sunbeds...The lads will even go to the shops to get your drinks while around the pool, they are brilliant....
We would highly recommend this hotel if you want a bit of luxury and we would def stay there again....
Thanks Buretto and all your staff, for helping to make our holiday great.....

Room Tip: We had a road facing room as we like to people watch, but they are noisy, we didn't mind... So...

just got back from Bluesea Beach Resort. Really enjoyed staying in the hotel. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Hotel lovely and clean the main boy Naval worked extremely hard looking after the guests. Mr Barreto the owner has a gem with him. Good location and just next to beach road. Clean towels every day and clean rooms and new facilities, secure safe, air con, fridge, fan and of course the very comfortable large bed with clean bedding every day. The owner Mr Baretto
asked us every day if we were happy with everything. Great stay.

Room Tip: choose a room at the back which are quieter away from the busy road

We stayed at the Bluesea Beach resort for a month in December 2013. Its a nice clean and friendly place to stay. The staff were hard working, friendly and helpful .The owner ensured that we had a good stay and all or needs were met. My husband was even invited to share a meal that the staff had cooked, he said it was one of the best meals he had had in Goa . We had a quiet room 205 at the back overlooking the pool. We had 2 balconies , lovely comfy bed.it was nice to sit and watch the wildlife in the morning. great location and handy for shops and restaurants . Been to Goa many times and can highly recommend the Bluesea Beach resort.

Room Tip: The rooms at the back overlooking the pool are quiet and get the sun most of the day.
