Such endeavors take a long time to mature. There is some good stuff there. Location is little difficult to find. Attempt to visit if you are in South Goa and lot of spare time

A Place to see some excellent artefacts, also connecting with artists. The place also hosts music concert once in a while, which adds colour to the place. Must thank the owner Victor and his wife for putting up the place together

As the founder of the museum, Victor Hugo Gomez, explained to us, the purpose of the museum was to preserve as much local history as possible by collecting original (restored as needed) implements. Thefounder has undertaken this task on his own and does not receive any government funding for his efforts. He has quite a collection and it is housed very nicely. A guided tour is worth it as it will provide more insight as to the use of many of the implements. We were also treated to a brief folkloric music and dance show as part of our tour. This museum also has a very nice gift shop with well priced items.

Very interesting look back over Goa's past. Well put together and still being extended to add room for more old carriages.

Really interesting museum that is also used for occasional concerts/dinners. We went there twice to see a Beatles tribute band and a couple of jazz singers, both of which were excellent, as was the food. Fascinating collection of artifacts from rural Goa and a beautiful building.
