This museum of utensils is a unique and fascinating collection of pots, pans, jugs, and all sorts of utensils big and small, some of which are hundreds of years old.
The museum is located at Vishala (a restaurant with a rustic Gujarati village theme on the outskirts of Ahmedabad). Some of their pots and cooking pans are 6 to 8 feet wide. They also have a collection of huge antique locks and keys.
The museum has a nominal entrance charge of 20 Rupees and you are expected to make a donation of 100 Rupees to the museum trust if you want to take photographs.
The museum is worth visiting so ideally plan a dinner at Vishala and go there an hour or so earlier so you can see the museum.
