we stayed at maneland for 3 days and experienced exotic environment of natural jungle, blended with the lightings that added icing to the cake... Perfect place to stay after hectic work life..
Staff at maneland are extraordinarily good.. It seems like being with family even though its a lodge..Services provided by them were excellent in every sense. Mr.Ashok chavda is also very co-operative and looks after each and every aspect personally and that made our stay more comfortable..
Looking forward to stay at the same place again in vacations. and would also recommend this hotel to the all who seek stay in sasan..

Room Tip: We stayed at room no.4 best place wid garden in front.

If you are looking for a great stay in natural surroundings this is the best place to be.We called Mr.Ashok Chavda to confirm our booking and a room was reserved for us. We arrived at 12 Am, and the staff received us. Though the kitchen was closed, we got something to eat at the late hour. The ambiance of the place is lovely, and gives the feel of being in the midst of wilderness. Lots of pea fowls and Peacocks visit the place, & its home to varieties of birds.
Food is tasty and simple. Rooms are reasonably clean, and staff courteous. Any complaints or requests are attended to promptly. It is close to Sasan Gir and Also Devalia park. Advance intimation needs to be given for arranging vehicle for to and fro travel from the resort.

Room Tip: Rooms in 1st floor have greater privacy and beautiful view with sit outs. Room size is same so not much to differentiate here.. I would prefer 1st floor anytime.

If you are looking for as budget resort wit decent facilities. This is there right place. We were a group of 6 guys and were looking to just dump our bags and enjoy the safari. The food is good primarily veg. Not many options. But the rooms were clean and good long beds. Water was available as well as generator. But one bad riview was that they don't have enough water to wash cars.
Overall it was satisfactory.
Thanks.

It was in January 2014 we planned for a Botanical Excursion to Gir forest national park and adjoining areas. We hail from University of Delhi. The foremost thing before us was where we are going to make our base stay. We went through tripadvisor.in and there we learned about Maneland Jungle Lodge. The enthusiastic and positive comments and reviews regarding this lodge and particularly about GM Mr. Ashok Chavda inclined us towards this lodge. I contacted Mr. Ashok and discussed about my trip. As our group was large (54 members, Students and Faculty) Mr. Chavda advised me for advanced online permit and assured me for the best stay at Gir. He was really a great help for us, not only for permit and accommodation he arranged a Bus for us from a Local travelling company. We stayed at Maneland for Four days, from 11 March 2014 to 14 March 2014. At the very first when my students landed at the lodge they were thrilled, not sure about getting good facilities there in core jungle. But after entering into the main campus of Mainland all of them were seemed mesmerized, seeing the natural beauty of the place, antique architecture of the building, spacious rooms with all the modern facilities. We booked all the rooms, Mr Chavda was very kind to us, arranged an extra room for one of my faculty who has two of her children with her. Rooms were really very clean, well ventilated and spacious. We took two safaries, Morning and Evening and we were really fortunate that every member of our group was able to spot atleast eight to nine lions and with other inhabitants of Gir Forest. Surprisingly, some of our group members have spotted leopard, which was a rare feat. Mr. Chavda advised me to arrange a surprise for the students, which came out a biggest hit of our trip after lion sighting. It was a tribal group dance of a Sudanese Tribe (African).
Furthermore, the staff at Maneland was very supportive, receptive and polite. At our first day we
reached at lodge very late in the night, the staff was waiting for us, full of warmness and hospitality...truly.. this gesture of theirs make us sense that our stay at Gir and Maneland is going to be a memorable experience. The quality of vegetarian food they served was awesome, it was really very delicious and was appreciated by my students. These people have served very well to my students and faculty members. We also visited Diu Islands and Somnath, making Maneland as our base, as it was a kind of home away from home. My students were insisting me to stay one more day at Maneland as they liked the place very much. Overall it was a great stay and a life time experience at Gir and Maneland. I strongly recommend people to stay at Maneland due to the extremely courteous staff under the guidance of Mr. Ashok Chavda, who is one of the best persons i have ever meet.

Room Tip: All the rooms are spacious and well furnished with modern facilities.

Dear Dr. Tripathi,
I am thrilled to read your review, as well as very happy to note that every member of your troupe liked the hospitality of Maneland Jungle Lodge. Truly speaking, it was our pleasure and honor to host Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay College students of Delhi University. I must compliment your students, who enjoyed their stay, had fun for a full four days in a real real cultured and disciplined manner. As far as our service goes, we know that the way to your heart passes through your belly :-),
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you and I am sure you will give us many more opportunities in time to come. Regards to all faculties who accompanied you
Ashok Chavda.
