Hathni Mata is a beautiful place. Cascading waterfalls, a lovely scenic drive and greenery everywhere. Its about an hour and a half drive from Vadodara, best visited during the monsoons.
Unfortunately that's also the time when there's hordes of visitors screaming about, hogging and blocking the pathways, and littering the landscape with plastic bags and bottles.

This could actually become a wonderful picnic place if given some much needed attention by the govt. A few picnic benches, restrooms and maintenance staff to ensure cleanliness would do this place of beauty a world of good. An admission ticket could also be justified.

Rains continue in vadodara. Its time to catch either overflowing of Narmada Sarovar Dam or 2nd option is here. It's staight 80 km away from vadoara just a few miles away from Pawagarh. Its reallly enjoyable straight drive except 15 to 20 km which is not bothering you due to its beauty of greenery narture. Then sitting under the falls of water is just awesome. U might not find eatery items which u have to carry urself.
But overall its a great place to have fun.

This is a small water fall worth visiting only when the rain is average to good. It is nestled inside the jungle away from city but people have now reached there and you will find small villages nearby. About 100 km from Vadodara

It's a very good place in area of jambughoda national park having superb location in natural surrounding...but the place is too much spoiled by local tribal people and visitors....It's having shape of elephant and encient temple of tribal goddess...We have to go inside from water and rocks...but as there is no any controlling authority people are used to throw polythene bags, wrapers of waffers and biscuits...broken bottles of liquor, mineral water bottles/pouches....too much dirty and poluted place...pollution in terms of noise pollution as people coming in vehicles blow so much horn to clear their way...In nutshell, it's pathetic that we can't maintain such natural heritage place...
