in february we stayed at optus sarovar gurgaon of which this restaurant is a part and we ate there twice in 6days. my last review in July 2012 was not commlimentary however this time we enjoyed both evenings The food, all dishes, were very good. The Chef seems to have taken the cuisine to a higher level. well done. veena mallick

Above average Chinese food spoilt by over an hour wait between starters and mains with no apology or explanation.

The dumpling Schizuan style was very tasty. The Tofu fried with ginger as well as the green beans with garlic were excellent, however the large prawns were chewy and tasteless. Overall the starters had created a good impression of the place.

Something obviously went wrong as over an hour later the mains had not arrived on chasing the boiled rice arrived and only after further chasing did the rest of the dishes come.
The Schizuan aubergine was really good as well as the Pak Choy and broccoli stir fry. The sole as well the lamb were boring and pieces stuck together in a sticky corn flour sauce.
Need to sort out the service.

When traveling to India, I often stayed in the Optus Sarovar Premiere. The Oriental Blossom is immediately off of the lobby. The service is excellent, as is the food. The only issue I ever had was the music: they played the same song (literally) over and over again at a high volume. I actually asked them to turn off the music because the volume and repetition were getting on our nerves and spoiling the great meal.
