It was my first visit to Trident and I was floored by the decor and the beauty of the restaurant which was fabulous. . Despite a few other people who were lunching at that time, we found a quiet corner and enjoyed the Rajasthani meal which the hotel was promoting for the week. The turban wearing bearers were attentive and the chef himself came to brief about the various dishes served including gatta curry, surma etc. The food was excellent and the starters like the dahi kabab were out of the world. The corn soup made with yogurt was very tasty. We ended the lunch with a variety of desserts including Malpaua, sugar free rasmalai and an assortment of other sweets. I would recommend the place if you want to have a quiet but exotic meal for special occasions.
