We had an opportunity to stay at this beautiful property for 1 night. The entire staff including the owner Mr, Manu Seth gave us the best possible hospitality. The ambiance was great and we all had a very nice time. The location is good too. You can have a 360 degree view of the beautiful valley as well as the snow capped mountains.

It was our first visit to Pause at Manali. We were there in the month of May and found it to be more attractive than the pictures shown on tripadvisor, but apparently reviews on tripadvisor helped us a lot to choose this pleasing property owned by Mr. Manu Seth. We never felt like we are staying in a hotel/commercial property, but it was more of a homely feeling. The service is pretty fast and satisfactory. Yes, the food is excellent and homelike and we were fortunate that Mr. Manu Seth's mother was there to supervise and provided her motherly touch to the course. It is more of a home away from home. I would recommend not to visit Manali as a traveler but try to assimilate and feel the true essence of the city. You can ask Mr. Manu to guide you to best of the places in Old Manali. #thanks Manu #visitingsoonBoomShanker

Room Tip: All rooms are spacious and particularly rooms at 2nd floor gives awesome view of the valley infront.

Recently I had the chance of visiting Manali with couple of my friends away from the heat of the city.On recommendation of one of my friends we stayed put in Pause@Manali on Simsa, Kanyal road, Manali which is approx. 5 kms from the main busstand at a good height as compared to Manali.
Our 2 day stay at the Hotel was as we desired, Calm & serene away from the hustle & bustle of the city life. The Owner Mr Manu Seth was an excellent host & assisted us in all ways through out our stay. The food here was excellent, rooms were very good above all the view from the Hotel was superb.
The Hotel Owner Mr Manu recommended a visit to Old Manali, to which we headed & the visit was indeed worth while. OLD MANALI village which is approx. 2 kms from main busstand. It was altogether a different experience from the main manali. The village is crowded with cafes run by locals & Foreign nationals, dishing out International foods of excellent quality. The Pizza's here were amazing.
I would strongly recommend a visit to Old Manali on trip to Manali.

All in all I feel this trip surely was worth every single penny well spent.

My point of contact while booking was Mr. Manu Seth (Hotel Owner). He promised a big deal that our rooms are bla bla... view is bla bla... service is bla bla... But nothing turned out to be as good as the picture that was painted.
The rooms are good and the food is decent enough however, the price is a lot on the higher side.
Had it been a lot cost hotel, I would have definitely recommended it.

Location wise too... it is over 6kms away from the central market. So, it a both a pro and con depending on you :)

Thank you for your review. We apologize if we have misled you in any way during the booking! We always strive to be better. However, we have the most competitive rates among the hotels at par with us in the area. Also, we choose to be 4Km outside the city to be able to enjoy the natural beauty of Manali at its peak instead of noisy/crowded experience same as of a city. Hopefully you will have a better stay in Manali next time!

The best thing is hospitality and scenic views.

Hospitality - Jatin/Akshay/Manu will takes good care of their guests. Any kind of help you request they are on their toes. Jatin is a very soft spoken person and Manu with a big heart. You can always communicate your preferences and rest assured they will do their best to accommodate that.
I had a spat with travel agent suggested by Manu (Swastik Leisure Holidays, Delhi) for not providing all the services promised. Manu took moral responsibility of that and helped us timely.

Views - Hotel provides some of the nicest views of snow clad peaks. Apple orchard in backyard. If it rains or a foggy day, you will find clouds at your rooms terrace.

Food - above average, less choice in breakfast

Location - The hotel is 6-7 Kms from the coveted Mall Road and is located on Kanyal road at a good height. Walking to the hotel is not feasible. Please ensure that you have cab at disposal if you stay here. One way dropping charges to hotel from Mall road varies between 250-500 depending on vehicle and demand (season).

Property - Newly built, very spacious rooms and spacious bathrooms. Huge balcony or terrace areas with bean bags to your comfort add to the scenic views. Geysers are not capable to provide continuous hot water limits shower usage. You need to fill a bucket. Capacity of geysers is questionable as even one bucket of hot water is not available in one go. Courteous staff will provide you hot water in separate buckets if requested.
In another room we found a bathtub. As geysers cannot provide hot a bucket full of hot water forget about bathtub. Though rooms are good, there is inconsistency in furniture - some rooms may not have cupboards to store your luggage and clothes, may not have dustbins.

Improvement Areas -
• Geyser
• Electric bed warmers (it’s too cold in Manali sometimes)
• Pick up n drop to Mall road Manali once each, one time a day at least

Overall, the service is really good, property is new, cleanliness is maintained and views are awesome

Room Tip: Have vehicle at disposal, the hotel is 6-7 kms from Mall road and cab operators will charge you INR...
