“Great value for money”
Reviewed 8 April 2013

I booked this service apartment hotel for five days and had a really great time with my family. Pretty spacious and well maintained rooms. I was really impressed by the service provided by the staff there, very friendly and polite. Buffet continental breakfast, and varied food options for Lunch and Dinner was an icing on the cake.
As the saying goes "Good things come in small packages".

Room Tip: Rooms with balcony are much better than the one without.

Got to know about this small apartment Hotel through 'Cleartrip' and was a good find. Booked in to a Executive Suite and the room was pretty large. I only had one night stay and some of my friends was visiting me on the same night. It was too good to have that extra living room space which meant that all five of us had a comfortable sit around the small table provided. Also the room had a small dining table for two which was a nice touch!Induction stove (never used though) and a standard coffee maker was part of the few amenities provided. I only had one night stay here and I found the location to be too good and loved the large spacey room.Hotel car provided for the local visit and airport drop was of good quality.

This is a very good service apartment hotel...fantastic location...heart of Kormangala in Bengaluru..adjacent to great shopping & eating options...rooms are large..with kitchenette... very well maintained...does not look 5 years old...food is ok...service, both f&b and housekeeping is up to mark....guest friendly front office.

Deluxe Rooms don't have luggage rack and writing table...dont know why???
Even the booking system is rather strange... Book online, you get a rate which is much lower than that is offered by the front office of the hotel...they advise you to book online, even for an extension ... I had to over stay one more night and they didn't extend it at the online rate...so first time ever in my life...I booked for a hotel room...sitting in the same room:)))

We booked casa keeping in mind the in room cooking facilities. They have micro oven and induction plate along with toaster, refrigerator and tcmf kettle. We were travelling with our infant son who is 7 months old and needs pureed food and micro heated bottled food. Our expectation were limited to a simple service apartment but it proved to be a nice boutique hotel. Staff were courteous and it has the quickest room service and housekeeping.

Room Tip: rooms with balconies are road facing but they are not noisy

I stayed in this hotel for several months during 2012 for work, and my stay there was good.

The staff I met was helpful and polite and spoke English.

Positive points:
- the bed and mattress were really comfortable (and not these 10cm mattress on a wooden plank you get in most Indian hotels)
- rooms had AC and fans
- rooms were cleaned every day (bed, floor, towels, ...)
- rooms were quiet (but there were a couple times inconsiderate customers)
- there was internet (wifi so-so) and cable TV
- there were relatively few power outages (rarely lasting more than 30s)
- rooms were fully equiped a fridge, a small table 2 chairs and a sofa plus a DVD drive and large flat screen TV; a microwave oven, a safe
- you could cook small things (but have to ask pots and pans at the reception)
- mini bar was refilled every day
- breakfast was buffet-like and varied: you could have Indian breakfast or continental
- the location was great: small supermarket 'Nilgiris' 50m away, Forum mall at about 25min walking, Oasis mall at 15min, many restaurants around

And now a few tips on different topics...

Laundry:
* Do not forget to put the 'do not disturb' sign or you'll be woken up. (Once, the guy rang the bell despite the sign).
* If you want to sleep late, unplug the phone too. (Once they called on my line to tell they had found the do not disturb sign on the door and wanted to know if they could bring the laundry... what the **** ?)
* Stain removal was so-so. Sometimes, they used to put newspapers in your shirts to iron them (so you could read the news on white shirts).

Billing:
* Check your bill before paying as sometimes you will find weird bar tabs: ask them to show you the signed bill. They used to just ask the room number without even asking the name... since nothing looked like more like a room number than another room number, errors occured.
* When having a drink on the top floor, billing could take 15 minutes as it looked like they had to go to the reception downstairs...

Choosing a room:
* Water in the shower sometimes stopped: at peak time and if you were on the upper floors, hot water used to stop sometimes for seconds but sometimes for long minutes... A couple times I didn't get warm water at all. Rooms on the lowest floors didn't seem to face that issue according to my colleagues.
* Rooms on the highest floors have more natural light but less hot water. Pick wisely.
* No matter which room you have, on Diwali, you will think the building is under attack (hint: all of Bangalore is :-)

Internet:
* Wifi internet worked but the quality was so-so. Some rooms had wired internet (through ethernet so bring your RJ45). That used to be a bit more reliable than wifi.

Renting a car:
* The hotel could arrange a car rental with driver for you: it's ok if you want to stay in Blore. I would recommend using another car company if you plan to travel farther or for several days though.

Room Tip: Highest floors had more natural light but less hot water. 4th floor could be noisy when there was a...

Beautifully done, this was a find in Bangalore... Extremely good hotel with excellent in room facilities and generous add ons that make the trip worthwhile. Generous room sizes with most modern trappings, with a equipped kitchenette! It was a shame we did not use the appliances in the kitchenette, as we were on a business trip and simply did not have the time.

The food served is very good, a wholesome breakfast in the ground floor restaurant with a wide variety of options. The dinners on the roof top lounge were a memorable experience with nicely done drinks by the long haired barman.

Over the three nights, we dined at the lounge every single night, never felt the need to venture out as the food was good, service was good and the ambience was spectacular... Would love to visit again on our next trip....

Highly Recommend!!! Fully Vote with all fellow travelers who enjoyed staying here...

Stayed here for a week and I wouldn't come back.

My first room had an uncomfortable room and noisy erratic a/c which meant I couldn't slleep well. To their credit the staff moved me to another room which was better.

However, this hotel needs some serious work. The cleaning seems to be rushed and superficial, both bathrooms I used had rust and ingrained dirt. The breakfast room was often dirty.

None of these are a disaster but the hotel should not claim to be 5* quality, that's a vast exaggeration.

I'm not sure how this has such high reviews
