I stayed twice at Toms hotel at the beginning and end of a trip to India. Usually I'd try a different place each time but Toms was so lovely I just went back. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. There are rooms at the back which dont have windows and they are the same just a bit darker. The best thing though is the staff who are very lovely and helpful without being over the top. I was a female traveling alone and always felt safe. Location is excellent. You can walk easily to MG road and opposite the hotel there are lots of really interesting little streets to explore. Good little shops and food places all around but why go out for food when the restaurant downstairs in Toms is soooo good? You get breakfast with the room which is not to be missed.

Our stay at toms has been fantastic every time. I have booked for a large group of people on 3 separate occasions and have always been met with a friendly face. The customer service is the best I have encountered (eg personally searching out bags of charcoal for my group when I mentioned I wished to build a BBQ). I would not hesitate to recommend Toms highly and am confident you will enjoy your stay here!

Tom's Hotel has friendly staff and good complimentary breakfast. The location within Bangalore is very good. I could enter the room early in the morning. The room/bathroom was clean. Wifi was free of charge but worked only sometimes, they couldn't fix the wifi problems during my stay.

One of the nicest places I have stayed in India. Well furnished, large, bright rooms. Very clean throughout. Friendly and efficient staff and management. Good wi-fi and lots of information at reception. Easy walk to Brigade and MG roads.

It's Bangalore! A very commercial, business based city, so we expect the prices to be double what you would pay anywhere else. We were prepared for this and thought Tom's was good value despite its higher price tag. Conveniently, for us Tom's had 24 hour checkout, as we only wanted somewhere for one day/night. So we arrived at 4pm and checked out at 4pm the next day. Tom's came with complimentary breakfast, which was disappointing, tastelss cereal, and indian food that looked like it haad sat out for hours. I wasn't impressed. The room was clean, nice bathroom, good tv, with free paper on your doorstep in the morning.
It was quite difficult to find, the rickshaw driver didn't know where he was going, we had to stop and ask loads of times for help. We figured the best landmark was Fathima bakery which was next door.

We booked an air conditioned double book over the phone and was told that it would be 2275rps. This hotel was in the guide book for 1800 with air con. I'm used to hotels jacking their rates when getting into the book, but not by 500rps.

When we arrived, they had given our room away but offered us a non AC room for 1975rps. That is the most expensive I've ever been quoted for a non AC room in the off season.if you do stay, call and confirm the booking on the same day

The room was clean, I'll give it that, but this hotel is on a busy street, so expect a lot of traffic noise. Wedidnt even stay the night. We moved over the New Rainbow hotel where we had a much better rate and closer proximity to MG road.
