Description: Walk through the Pristine white walls it will feel as though you are entering a fort. Mysterious humongous entrance which invites you with a gush of sand and air, making it a key spot for a perfect Arabian night. The red and black area has different seating spaces like the bedouin tents, candle areas with 100 candles lit around you, regal swing seats. At Ruh we have created a different dimension and introduced three different menus, Spanish Dreams, Med-Arabian Magic and Indian Comfort. Our menu features the highest quality ingredients served family style and the results are magical. Besides being a sought after destination for Sunday brunches, Ruh will also live it up for the rest of the week, from noon to moon to set your soul on fire. Promising you to transport you from one experience to the other. Welcome to the Sinful and Soulful world of Ruh Resto-Bar.

This Ruh restaurant @ Belandur is a concept hotel with Middle eastern setup. Near the upcoming Bangalore Central Mall. Congestion is the keyword for parking and dont fall for valet parking. Park at your own risk.

They have the Arabic / Mediterranean look I would say. Not sure about Belly Dancing!

This place was suggested by the folks where I did a project, being the last day.... of delivery!

For a plate of Rs 400 per head, they bring in unlimited starters for you... Also they serve a wonderful Biriyani... too good. They also provide naans. Drinks are charged extra.

Worth the money if you are a non vegetarians. Fancy place and I could see lots of foreigners come in.

Note - too many offices in that area with IT industry. So they can afford to run the place easy!

Still I dont get why they start serving people with Bitter Gourd starter in the first? Silly!

Been here for Team lunch today
I would not go here spending my own money. Foget Team lunches
1. No welcome
2. Buttermilk as welcome drink(in cheap plastic disposable glasses)
3.Water served only if u ask
4. Tables worse than the Desks and benches we sat in college
5. Food was much less than the menu describes
6.Horrible taste. cold food
7. Worst Gulab Jamuns i ever had
8. No water in bathrooms
9. No manager in hotel. Weird na :)
10. I couldnt wash my hand. imagine using tissues
11.no service on the table

Only dialogue the staff says

"Sir Sir go early otherwise a big line will be there for buffet"

hardly any refill in the buffet.

finding Naan on the buffet was likea treasure hunt

and lastly the cucumber was also worst. just to show some standards

I'd struggle to find my way back to Ruh and even the taxi driver was very unsure how to get here. On arrival I wondered if we were at the right place as it's badly signed. Taking the lift to the 4th floor was an experience in itself as god knows what was on the walls ! Note to restaurant. Clean the lift and get better signage please !
On exiting the lift however, you enter Ruh with it's middle Eastern / Bedouin style decor. We were seated in a tented area which was nice as we were with a friend for his birthday. The food was excellent and we had a great evening.

Well, the approach to this place does make you apprehensive. From the narrow dingy car park to the entrance. The restaurant has three sections... One of which (as part of a Mediterranean/Arabic setting) is extremely dim lit. We thankfully got a "tent" that was illuminated well - but the flip side being it appears quite isolated and staff tends to forget you are there.

Menu is a horrible photocopy which you struggle to decipher. Among the beverages, their lime juice is just cold water with some lime fragrance sprayed onto it.

These guys have a long way to go in customer service and satisfaction, though they have taken the right first step in quality of food and decent portion size. We stuck to Indian cuisine and we were not disappointed one bit.
