It is an amazing place for a week end trip! Facilities are very good, neat and clean. Food is amazing. It's unfair, if I don't mention about staff at Galibore, very well behaved, dedicated and hard working staff that i have not seen anywhere.

We all are so much hooked to Internet, Phone and our work that we don't realize how good it feels to get away from these.
If you have some good company, this is a gr8 place to be.
No mobile connectivity (Hope it remains so).
The tents are very comforting.
Food is fine. Just the essentials.
BBQ by the river should not be missed at any cost. It was wonderful BBQ disk they served.
"Fishing Camp" is kind of misguiding cause fishing is banned.
Do take the Coracle ride.
Most importantly, do not trust the Google Maps to get to the place. Its totally misguiding. If you plan to go then check if they have updated the location in Google Maps. Or try to get to "Mekedatu - Sangama", and you can figure out the rest.

Room Tip: 12 tents. All the same. Just the size different. Try tents 1-4 as they have better view of the river...

We had a team workshop at Galibore with a mix of adventure sports and fun filled activities. It was a perfect spot to have the workshop, with adequate infrastructure and facilities. The staff were really service oriented, the food was really good and the rafting experience was splashing to the core!

No cell phone signal. No internet. Tell your mommy you'd call her only when you get back to Bangalore.
It took us around three hours from Bangalore to get here. The last 5KM stretch is a bit tricky, its extremely narrow and only one vehicle can pass through. You will need to coordinate with the resort just before getting on this track.
The resort is cleverly planned and well-maintained with the use of locally available material. Tents are cosy. They run the generator and you do have lighting and a fan in the room. Kind, friendly helpful employees. Delicious food, you get the feeling that it has been prepared with much love.
There are hens and roosters running around happily. Monkeys mid their own business.
BBQ on the river bed at the end of the day was lovely. I only wish the wastes wouldnt end up in the river.
We did a rafting trip up the river with really friendly guides who gave us time to fool around as well.
Not too many mosquitos, certainly a friendlier variety than the ones in Bangalore, but you could carry a mosquito repellant if you have sensitive skin.
Kingfisher beer is served. Careful with liquor, as they check and confiscate on the way in to the resort.
Great place, I'd go there again.

Room Tip: They are all good.

The +2 hour drive down from Bangalore was picturesque and memorable.
- Staff were fantastic.
- Food was delicious.
- Animals were everywhere you looked.
Highlight was the BBQ on the beach at the end of the day enjoying a cold Kingfisher watching the sun go down on the river with the monkeys making a racket and a row whilst the 6 foot Croc swam past.
Pack mossie repellant, hat, sunscreen and probably some gloves to climb the rope nets to protect from rope burn.
Overall highly recommend it for a one night stay in the Indian jungle away from the hustle n bustle of the city.

Tip: don't carry alcohol with you as there is a check point into the park and they will confiscate your booze.

Lcoated deep inside the forest & right next to the cauvery river, this place is a haven for bird watchers.

Accomodation: Spacious & comfortable tents. All of them are river-facing
Service: The staff are very very hospitable (one of the best amongst all JLR properties)
Food: Similar to all JLR propoerties --- personally i love the food
Activities: Bird Watching, Coracle Ride, Trekking, Nature walk. With greenery & hills all around plus a river meandering by it's a great place to unwind
