Stayed in that hotel before summer and at that time, I have had a very good stay. I decided to book there this time again.
I found big deterioration in the room, specially the bathroom. After couple of months opening, you can see already some sign of aging. On top of that, the stone beside the sink was not clean. I found 2 'non identified' things which I throw. I took pictures and show the front desk the day after when I checked out. I just got a 'oh, sorry'. But I insisted to talk to a manager. Same 'oh sorry'. I mentioned to him 3 issues during my few hours stay in that room :
- sink didnt evacuate water properly
- obviously lack of cleaning
- alarm clock was not reset to 0 from previous guest, so it rang at 5:45! Quite annoying when I checked in at 2am!
He didnt take note and I didnt have the feeling that any measure would be taken.
This is for sure not something I would expect from an hotel of that standard.
I also had issues regarding cancellation and change of reservation and got pretty ridiculous answers from the call center I talked to. Nothing to do with that particular hotel though. I guess this is a common thing to all Sheraton served by this call center.
Next stay in Bangalore for sure will be somewhere else.More
