Only there for one night but could have stayed longer!
They could not do enough for us to make our short stay comfortable and memorable.
The Blue Bar is definitely the place to be in Bagalore!

Located in the heart of city. Most popular hotel in Bangalore in all respect. Taj, has the beautifully designed cottages. The cuisine are excellent. The room service, no complain at all. The one should stay here if in Bangalore. Strongly recommend. Excellent man power and infra structure.

I recently spent 9 days in Bangalore for work and, even though it was a little far from the office, chose to stay at the Taj West End. The sprawling property, encompassing over 20 acres, lends the feeling of being at a vacation resort. The colonial-style buildings are charming and comfortable. But, what sets this hotel apart is the warmth and quality of the service. Every possible need is attended to with charm and aplomb. The service feels neither forced, nor too obtrusive, and is the blueprint that all hotels should follow. After long hours at the office and a hectic drive back, basking in the luxury of the Taj West End made it feel like I was on vacation.

The dining options are a little limited, which becomes somewhat more apparent when staying there as long as I did. The breakfast buffet each morning was a great way to start the day, but the selections did not change at all. Blue Ginger, the Vietnamese restaurant onsite, offered a wide variety of delicious and authentic dishes. The open air restaurant itself is also quite beautiful and lavishly decorated, further creating the sense of being on vacation.

While there are a number of 5 star hotels in Bangalore to choose from (The Oberoi, The Leela, for instance), you need not look any farther than the Taj West End. You will not be disappointed.

I visited Bangalore for a day in October, and stayed in Taj West End. Unlike most 5-star hotels in big cities, this hotel is not a high rise building; instead, it is built on an expansive 28 (or may be 40) acres of land, with most rooms on only ground or first level - which gives an exotic feel in the middle of the city. The icing on the cake are the rooms - very spacious, big bathrooms and the roofs are quite high. Loved the short stay there. However, the spread they have in their buffets (lunch and b/f) is quite limited.

I recently stayed at The Taj West End in Bangalore and it is one of the most beautiful properties I have come across. The hotel is spread out over more than 20 acres right in the heart of the city, and is lush with greenery. Once inside the property, you don't feel you are in Bangalore. This is a beautiful hotel, on large grounds with much greenery. There are several different restaurants and a spa. The service is great - if anything, it was sometimes too attentive (I've never been asked so many times whether I'm enjoying my breakfast). The breakfast buffet is really great.

In May this year, my husband and I stayed at Taj West End to celebrate my birthday. This was our third stay at this property. Considering we are residents of Bengaluru it may seem a little crazy...but the Taj West End is such a lovely place to unwind and bask in some luxury that I would love to go back there again.

From the time we arrived at the driveway, the courtesy of the staff is impeccable and in a few seconds you are made to feel so welcome and so special. During this stay we had lunch at Blue Ginger. They had a nice buffet spread with various counters for salads, soups, satay and so on. Blu Bar too is a great place to hang out - you could go there during the afternoon for a lazy lunch and a few pitchers of Sangria. In the night it gets crowded...but not in a bad way. The Indian restaurant Masala Klub serves delicious food. They even have a chef make hot phulkas in front of you. Quite a delightful experience.

The rooms are comfortable and all the greenery around makes sure you get a lovely view from pretty much every room. The property is so romantic that it is a perfect weekend getaway within the city. I am already looking forward to our fourth stay now!

Room Tip: Well, we stayed at the Jacaranda suite our first time. It is a great suite if you are celebrating yo...
