Food is awesome and so is the place. A well maintained garden coupled with nice courteous people, makes this the best hotel in Bangalore. The prices are a bit high (compared to other Taj), but you will never repent on it.
Also the ball room is big enough for a small party as it opens into the garden where lunch/dinner can be arranged post any event...
Dinner for 2 would costs approx - Rs 2-2.5 k (including wine)

Had a very pleasant stay in Bangalore at the Taj West End. Beautiful setting on former British colonial property transformed into hotel surrounded by trees and gardens. The flute player serenading breakfasters is a nice touch. I hesitate to say, but only downside is too much staff -- always popping in the room and checking in. They are all really helpful, though. I would stay again.

At Taj West End - time stands still.

When you enter the tree lines drive way - time stops and the main gate.

The Taj West End is full of surprises. First, it is not a modern hotel, but a society of buildings and gardens with accomodations ranging from cathedral- ceilinged rooms in the old building to lavishly roomy suites peppered around the property.

Honestly, staying at the West End was overall one of the old world charm !!!

Flying back from a round trip to India we spent our last days at the Taj West End in Bangalore. It is a superb hotel and we had the feeling of being in a real garden, a garden that is left over when Bangalore was called garden city which it is nowadays no longer. Everything around us was green, full of flowers and we enjoyed it. The room we had was on two floors, the staircases were a little bit too steep. We enjoyed our stay.

Only there for one night but could have stayed longer!
They could not do enough for us to make our short stay comfortable and memorable.
The Blue Bar is definitely the place to be in Bagalore!
