We booked Taj west end for a conference, and had booked about 20 rooms for all our guests including our staff for staying for a day.
The stay experinece is excellent, the least to say. Whether it is housekeeping, or room service, or the hospitality by all the staff is just amazing. The location of the hotel isgood so the greenary at the hotel. The way they have maintained the hotel is superb. Conference facility is one of the best so are the two restaurents Mynt and masala klub.
I have no words to praise this place,

I stayed in a historic suite - the magnificently refurbished and immensely luxurious Tata Suite. Not only is this gorgeous suite located in a stand alone, colonial style bungalow with well trained personal staff in attendance , round the clock, but it also has a private plunge pool with a gazebo - perfect for entertaining friends discreetly. There is nothing flashy about this destination - just quiet good taste showcased amidst the most lush foliage that makes you forget the din of the busy city outside its imposing gates. Gigantic Rain Trees offer cover round the year, while golf buggies transport guests noiselessly to their rooms which are spread over several sprawling, landscaped acres of prime property right opposite the race course. The island restaurant called The Blue Ginger, offers delicious pan-Asian cuisine, though the Blu Bar next door could turn the volume down a bit, as guests settle back against silk covered bolsters to enjoy a spicy Thai curry or fiery king prawns stir fried by enthusiastic chefs.
The suite is superbly appointed, with a dining room that seats ten comfortably. The bath products - Forest Essentials - happen to be personal favourites. The poolside bar attracts residents looking to unwind amidst all that greenery that really is the main attraction of this appealingly old fashioned hotel that redefined standards in Bangalore when it first opened and continues to attract loyalists (me!) who prefer its classic charm to the uber modern facilities of newer properties. Plus, it has the fluffiest bath towels on earth! And you get woken up by hundreds of bird calls at dawn. Can't wait to get back soon and collapse on that gigantic four poster, feeling like a spoilt, pampered queen!

We loved our short stay at the Taj West End - the welcome is courteous, and the accomodation of a high standard (it knocks the spots off the other Taj hotels we've visited, and I think must rate as a bit of a 'Flag-ship' for them.

After a 3 hour journey from Mysore we were tired and in need of refreshment. We'd had a generous breakfast and so couldn't face the Sunday Champagne Brunch, but the Maitre D' was most accomodating and seated us in the sunny garden where we partook of a couple of glasses of 'bubbly' 'on the house' - very acceptable, and just the way to win friends! (Nice touch!).

The grounds are truly impressive, and a veritable lung in inner-city Bangalore - the vegetation is tropical, there's a beautiful Vietnamese restaurant set amongst the trees, and 2 lovely swimming pools, one more secluded than the other.

Restaurant prices are quite steep, but the whole package warrants this more-so than say 'Fisherman's Cove in Mahamallipuram, where the ambience is relaxed but not the tariff!

If we visit Bangalore again, we'd certainly drop in on the West End!

Have been to the Taj West End on many occasions. It provides a very relaxed environment to be at when you are there for work. A beautiful property with greenery that is difficult to find in modern day cities. At is is very close to the business district if the city. Even while coming from the new Bangalore airport, one does not need to cross the city to reach the hotel and that is a big plus.
The staff is also very friendly and takes good care of you.
It is popular and ends up being a little expensive if not booked in advance.
It has a good night life as well and the Vietnamese restaurant and bar is a great place to spend the evening.s

Once again a fabulous stay at the Taj, the hotel itself is an oasis in the middle of a very bustling city!!

This trip was a business trip and my 3rd time back at the hotel. The trip was short (3 nights) and became even shorter when I realised whilst booking an airport shuttle for the next day that my flight was booked 7 days later than it should have been. To me this was a big problem, to the concierge it was a relaxed, stress free problem that he would solve, both his commitment to his role and also the service of Emirates was top class!! I flew home via Dubai that evening and even arrived home earlier than I should have. Hats off to both Taj Concierge and also Emirates, you both provided a level of customer service second to none.

We booked this hotel from our travel agent. Though i was there for just 1 day & night, yet the staff treated ur very warmly.... the welcome was amazing in the evening . We had our dinner in our room only . The food was mouth watering & courtesy was too good.
The staff were very friendly & helpful. I was with my 1 year 6 months old son& wife. they took good care of us.

In the morning we had a early flight to catch. My son was steel half asleep, the manager at the breakfast area was so frindly that he himself asked for a bread basket for our travel for my son. which ultimately was a life saver as the flight got delayed by 2 hours.

It was a short yet very nice experience to stay at this hotel. & i would surely love to stay at this hotel again .
