“Dodda Ganapathi Temple – Sacred Temple”
Reviewed 17 July 2014

We friends planned for a spiritual journey when I was in Bangalore. We opted for this temple as we already knew its location and the environment there. The idol placed over there is quite impressive and maybe the largest one that I have ever come across in reality. We also visited the nearby Bull temple.

““Very Excellent Iconic””
Reviewed 15 July 2014

Dodda Ganapathi temple situated at the foot hill of the famous Bull Temple in Basavanagudi. The huge engraving of lord Ganesha sculpted from a single rock is amazing and beautiful.
A must visit in Bangalore for Hindu Devotees.

“Fantastic Ganesha”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

Must visit during your visit in Bangalore, esp when you are a fan of Lord Ganesha. Also visit the Bugele rock behind the temple. You can find lot of bats if you visit after 4pm.

“I'd your a foreigner it's nothing special.. ”
Reviewed 7 July 2014 via mobile

I understand that if you have religious purposes with visiting this temple then it's ok. But if you are a foreigner it's not much to see... Small stone god, and that's it....
