“Modern Hanuman”
Reviewed 16 April 2014

Once surrounded by Paddy fields now with concrete jungle, but one can feel the vibration being there. It has become a good cultural center promoting "Sanathana Dharma". Saturdays being good crowd, one may have to wait to have Hanuman darshan. Lot of spiritual classes and concerts organised here.

“Nice Temple to Visit”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

In Karnataka, Anjaneya is an important Hindu God, and you see lot of temples dedicated to him in this part of India. The name is derived from the fact there used to be Ragi cultivation in this area, many, many years back, and gudda is small hill. The Anjaneya deity is on the top, which you have to claim, not very steep though. Now they have have a lift to go up. The temple is well maintained, they run a school, free food served on week ends etc.
They also have a large hall, where lot of cultural activities are carried out. If you have interests in temples, this is a must visit.

“It's a small journey inside a temple complex”
Reviewed 22 March 2014

The temple sits in a busy area of jayanagar, but inside the temple complex, it's a different world. The path taking you inside it slight climbing up, and allowance you to see the little hill around.

“PRAY IN THE TEMPLE AND ALSO ENJOY LOTS OF FUN”
Reviewed 17 March 2014

The Ragi Gudda Anjaneya Temple situated in the 9th Block Jayanagar is there for a long time. Recently the temple is renovated and is now devotee friendly. There is a nice arrangement i.e., queue system for people to go into the temple and have darshan. It used to be problematic for us to go in the busy crowd. The temple is situated on a small hillock and there is railing which makes it easy to hold and climb to the temple. There are other temples like Rama temple and Ganesh temple, Navagraha temple, Devi temple in the vicinity. There is a Navagraha vana where plants/trees representing each Planet.
There is meditation Hall and some small halls where discourses, functions etc are performed.
There is a nice water fall and the Garden is lovely. There is play area for children also.
There is a chappal stand where you can leave your chappals in a bag and deposit with the volunteers at the chappal stand. Not much parking facility around the temple. but may get parking nearby .
DO VISIT AND HAVE DARSHAN OF ANJANEYA AND ENJOY THE BEAUTIFUL HILLOCK IN BUSY AND CROWDED BANGALORE.
