Situated on the ever chaotic Outer Ring Road in Jayanagar, Ragigudda Anjaneya temple is a place to forget your worries and let your stress float away. Walking up a flight of steps to the small hillock with the main deity, you feel that you have come away from the city into a serene environment. Even if you are not religious or spiritual, a visit will make you feel lighter and relaxed.
Though I haven't visited the temple when it was crowded (the temple is quite popular amongst localites), I can see proper signs, neatly organized routes to ensure smooth movement.

Ragigudda Sri Anjaneya swamy temple is in Jayanagar area in Bangalore. It is an ancient temple attracting thousands of devotees and visitors every day.
There is also an Ashram founded by a Swamiji who is recognised as Ragiguddada Swamiji. He is well read and knowledgeable person. This Swamiji has also constructed Mother Goddess Kamakshi-Sharade temple at Hebbur in Tumkur District. The main deity is established on "SHRI CHAKRA" as the one made by Adi Shankaracharya.
It is built on the Tortoise shaped rock indicative of Lord Vishnu, wherein Lord Ganesha and Lord Subramhanya are at the gate of the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. The images of Mother Goddess and that of Lord Shiva as SrI Dakshinamurthy are very attractive
However the Ragigudda Anjaneya temple is very well maintained. It is a must to be visited by all the devortees of Lord Anjaheya Swamy

The Ragigudda temple with the hillock is a wonderful place to relax after a tired day. The ambience around the temple and the walkway to the top is mesmerising with the pink and white bougainvilla trees in bloom. The hymns chanted by pilgrims is so soothing to the mind. It has deities of Lord Ganesha, Parvati, nava graha, Shiva lingam, Dhanya Lakshmi, Lord Rama and the main deity of Lord Hanuman. Its believed that the Hanuman idol was formed swayambu. On the back side of the temple huge carvings of Gods are created on large Granite rocks which is worth seeing. The running water fall is also attractive. Go for it for peace of mind and rejuvenate.
