Nothing special to report - covered all the usual requirements of an inner-city near-budget hotel. Location was good, service was good, rooms were fine. We even had a little balcony which looked over some grubby building, but at least we could sit outside. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. My only reservation is that the price for this level of accommodation is a bit more expensive than what it typical across India. You don't get anything for the extra money they charge, but then it's only about Rs300 over the others, which for this kind of hotel is not significant.
All in all, it was OK. Can recommend it, if you do have to stay in Mangalore, which has precious little to offer the tourist, except for Hindus as there is a very nice temple in town (Manjunatha), and Christians as there is a very nice Chapel also (St Aloysius College Chapel).More
