We walked by chance into the Old Lighthouse Bristow hotel and were delighted by its location, its view and its colonial-like architecture. Hence we decided to have dinner here this evening and we reserved one table.
I checked beforehand tripadvisor and read some not so positive remarks. One message was very strong: western food is not their strengh. But no wonder, this is the case in 99,99% of Indian restaurants offering western food in teir menus.
So we arrived at 8pm and went for Kerala specialities together with a bottle of Indian shiraz red wine. The service was very good. The food was delicious, as well the wine and the dessert. And you sit on a terrace facing Kochi beach and the sea.
All in all we had a great dinner, and the restaurant deserves our positive rating.
