“Great Indian Hospitality”

Very nice family, great location and room and very good breakfast. Definitely recommended for backpackers! You don't find that much hostels in India that have that good of quality and service for that price!

The Privilege Home stay at Dharmasala Rd was a very restful respite. The rooms were very clean, the food delicious and the hospitality of Mr Nagesh and family was unrivaled. We were offered every assistance and for those who wish to experience a true Southern Indian home stay then the Privilege is the place to be.

We have stayed at Privilege Homestay in Fort Cochin for almost a week and we really felt at home. Fantastic people proud of their country and willing to help. Whatever we needed to do, they had a (cheap) solution, whether food, taxi (Faizel is a very kind taxi driver, we warmly recommend his services as well), fabrics or even walks across the city... We highly recommend this place. Nagesh and his family are great and they will do everything to suit our needs.
Thank you very much Nagesh, Shamala and Devi.

Room Tip: The top floor room is great.

We had 2 rooms on the first floor with a other couple. There is a sitting-room and a dining-room at the same floor, so we had the feeling of having an apartment. The rooms were small, but very clean, so were the bathrooms. But a small room, when you have the sitting-area is no problem. The family who runs this home-stay is very helpful and friendly. Really lovely people.

Privilege Home Stay in Fort Cochin, Kerala, India was clean and extremely hospitable. We had a room with a lovely porch off the third floor. The family is warm, helpful and friendly. They made our visit to Fort Cochin well worth the trip. Delicous English or Indian breakfasts are available if desired. The setting is a residential neighborhood about 15 minute walk from the center of town, which is refreshing.

Room Tip: the third floor has a porch, but can be accessed by all rooms

Me and my friend found this guesthouse through the guesthouse in Munnar. The second I phoned them to make a reservation it felt good. The family is welcoming, friendly, helpful, and will do anything to make your stay perfect. We slept on the first floor in a nice bedroom, and because we were the only guest we had our own living room + dining room for ourselves.

We felt part of the family :)

The location is also good, just 10 minutes walking from Cochin centre / beach.

I highly recommend this place to everyone!!! It was a real India experience, with our Indian family.

If you like to experience a nice home stay in Fort Kochi please visit this family. They really make you feel welcome, take time for a chat and answer all your questions with care.
I stayed in the room on the top floor, it was big, spotless clean and had very nice mattresses!
The Kerala breakfast was big and exactly as it should be.
Location is nice and quite out of the touristy part of Kochi.
If I am in Kochi again I would definitely come back!
