A true Homestay with a real Keralan Family. I even joined trip advisor just to give this review. Linda has recently moved and all the rooms have been recently decorated and many have new fans and air conditioning units. All very clean !!! We loved Linda, Thomas and their extended family they genuinely are very caring and nice. We had 3 nights of cooking lessons which were excellent. We even got to eat the food we cooked which saved on the evening meal. We stayed in two rooms and both were a similar standard. Linda's prices are very reasonable and generally under the going rate. Le Linda is near Fort Kochin centre and a rare gem if you want a nice family bed and breakfast.

We took Linda´s cooking class whilst staying with her. We learnt so much how to prepare delicious currys. Linda and her family are so friendly, we really felt at home in their place. The room was spacious and very clean with mosquito sheets on the windows (the only place in Kerala where we did not have any mosquitos in the room!) and the room was very quiet, we slept so well. It s also in a very nice area in Kochin. We really loved it there and would go back any time. We can really recommend to stay there and also to take the opportunity to attend the cooking class, Linda is a great cook and will give teach you how to prepare Indian food and she can also help you to buy the spices..

We spent five days at Lindas and the family was so nice to us. Linda was like a mother to us. The place is about 10min walk to Fort Kochi center. She cooked really good food and provided a nice cooking class with authentic Kerala cooking. Linda gave us info and arranged our trips to the backwaters and other activities. Clean and nice house. We are very satisfied, thank you Linda and the family.

Linda is extremely helpful with helping you to arrange trips, within an hour of us being there she had arranged tours for us and how we were going to continue to the next part of our journey. She arranged a Rik yuk tour which took us to all the main sites in Kochi for just 300 rupees and a back water tour, which was very long (just go for the 3 hour trip if you do it) that cost 850 rupees each. We didn't see any tourist agents in Fort Kochi, so it was lucky that she had been so forthcoming with helping us to plan.

Her food is authentic Keralan, both for breakfast and dinner that makes it feel like being part of a Keralan family home. The cardamom tea is amazing!

The wifi is quite weak.

The rooms are simple, but clean. The location is really close to the town and its attractions, tuk tuks are only 20-50 rupees if you would rather not walk.

Linda and her family are extremely welcoming and friendly. All the guests had dinner together, which was nice to chat to other guests about their travel too.
